Kathleen Stupidelius gets rectally abused again

If they gave me 634 Million I'm pretty sure I could build one that worked.

It wasn't even close to $634 million.

Rumor Check: Obamacare Website Might Be Glitchy, But It Didn’t Cost $634 Million

While the federal website to signup for Obamacare was riddled with errors and had a rocky rollout, it didn’t cost $634 million to build. The eye-popping supposed pricetag gained traction Thursday after technology website Digital Trends compared it to the estimate released by the government contractor, which was $541 million less.

CGI Federal announced in 2011 that it had been awarded a $93.7 million contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to build the federal health insurance exchange, healthcare.gov, which formally launched on Oct. 1, 2013.

How so? Didn't you claim the Obamacare website was "impressive"?

Why, yes, you did:

Only a total partisan hack like you would try and pretend that a website getting nearly TWO THIRDS OF A MILLION HITS in one day isn't impressive.

Or are you admitting that "hits" without results aren't really impressive?

No, I didn't.

I stated quite clearly that a website that gets nearly two thirds of a million hits in one day is impressive.

How typical for a troll.

Just can't bring your petty troll ass to discuss the issue with any honesty, can you?

What's that you're saying?

More total nonsense from a petty troll and some other partisan Righties?

That's what I said you said.

Since the Obamacare website is so "impressive" and you're so proud of that stat (got a link for that, BTW?), can you explain why the site isn't able to process many applications?

The government made an attempt to turn the online issues into positive coverage, blaming the glitches on high demands.

'Americans are excited to look at their options for health coverage, with record demand in the first days of the marketplaces,' said the release announcing the planned fixes.

The statement was headlined: 'Health Insurance Marketplace Open for Business - Week One Success.'

Except I never said the Obama Care website is impressive.

Why can't you get that through your troll skull?

Nobody pumps money into an effort they're counting on to fail.

Are you saying Obama was counting on the effort to fail?

Digital Trends called the $93.7 million estimate a “chunk of change, but nothing near where it apparently ended up.”

Even though the site didn’t cost upwards of $600 million to build, many are still questioning why — with the $93.7 million tag — it still wasn’t up to snuff.

You are doing one amazing job of dodging the question put to you.

Thanks.

Since I don't intend to answer it, it really isn't hard.

Maybe you can explain why a website that cost $93.7 million and has been in the works for years doesn't work properly.

Thanks for confirming what everyone already suspected.

You're just another coward scared shitless of honest discussion.

Why don't you take your shitty little troll identity and go somewhere else?

That's just silly, he has everything to lose if it fails. All I want to know is how much money a project like this should cost. Apparently the govt. thought less than $100 million. This news came out in 2011. Guess that's long enough for the RW spin machine to hope it got lost in cyberspace so they could launch the phony claim of $643 million.

"CGI Federal has won a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services contract worth up to $93.7 million to build a health insurance exchange that is federally-facilitated, the company announced today. The contract to build Federal Exchange was awarded by CMS’ Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight. It has a two-year base value of $55.7 million with three one-year options.

CGI said the exchange is required underneath a provision in the Affordable Care Act which mandates a new competitive health insurance marketplace for states and territories."
