“Jill and I have known and respected Karine a long time and she will be a strong voice speaking for me and this Administration,” the president said in a statement.

Jean-Pierre will replace Jen Psaki, who was originally expected to serve for only the first year of Biden’s term. New coronavirus variants and the war in Ukraine kept her in the job for several months beyond that self-imposed limit.

“She is passionate. She is smart and she has a moral core that makes her not just a great colleague, but an amazing Mom and human. Plus, she has a great sense of humor,” Psaki said in a tweet.

"Representation matters. She will give a voice to so many, and show so many what is truly possible when you work hard and dream big. And that matters. And we should celebrate that," Psaki said at the White House briefing on Thursday, while also touting Jean-Pierre's resume. "But I also want to make clear what all of her qualifications are. ... She comes to this job with decades of experience."

It is increasingly the case that because of racism and misandry it is a waste of time for white men to apply for positions. we are disqualified from the jump. The only way around that is to claim to be trans, which almost is not a real thing, it is a part of FantasyLand Creatures pretend world.
 
Biden could recruit press secretaries from prison rosters and still do better than Trump did in that regard.

Still, I think he could do a little better. Conan O'Brien is, I believe, available.

Maybe the President didn't want two redheads in a row, but Conan would have been great.
 
Press secretaries don't hang on long regardless who is President, tough job, and I am going to miss Psaki, she was prepared, knowledgeable, quick, and most importantly, quick witted, a rarity
 
I am reminded that the three finalists for King County Sheriff, which is 7% black, were all black....two men and one woman.

Surely you can guess which one they picked.

Three of the four press secretaries of Trump were women. He choose one white male and no black, Hispanic or Asian males. Was Trump discriminating against white males? Or males of any other race?
 
Only a fake black man, fake jew and fake vet (Guno) would even try to make this an issue. Poor dumb white boy.

My suspicion is that if we did an inventory of spokespeople in both government and the corporate world we would find men massively underrepresented, especially white men.

You look at the history of White House press secretaries and it’s been almost all white men. Yet you think we are being discriminated against here?

I am definitely not coming from some woke position but at the same time not every job has to be done by a white male.

The only requisite to being a WH press secretory is the ability to lie with a straight face. That has nothing to do with color or race. Just the ability.

Yep!!! Maybe his position is white men are the best liars and thus should be the only one holding the job? Haha.

I look at it like this. I don’t really care who they hire (their race etc.) I have no issue with a gay black woman having the job. However, if she’s not good at her job it will reflect on the person that hired her.

True. Only the left focuses on a persons background, color, sexual preference etc. They live for that bullshit. Everyone else just looks at the individual.

Awesome, because as we all know the best people for any job are the openly gay and it's not weird at all to point out to the public that they are openly gay...right jewbot? Yep, no agenda at work here at all.
