So Democrats win power then what? Local government isn't the same as federal government but blacks have amassed quite a bit of power in big cities across the country. You have cities with Black Mayors, Black Police Chiefs, Black School Superintendents yet there are still huge challenges. Political power isn't the end all be all to gaining economic power.

We have our own plans for gaining greater economic power, but without political power, it goes nowhere.

Economic power is not the end-all to every problem.

The President met with 2 very influential successful black men who have been outstanding role models for the black community about prison reform, getting rid of stop and frisk and helping the black community in Chicago. Let's meltdown.
