WASHINGTON, D.C. (WWNY) - North country Congresswoman Elise Stefanik says if she had been in Vice President Mike Pence’s shoes on January 6, 2021, she would have refused to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election.
“I would not have done what Mike Pence did. I don’t think that was the right approach,” she said during an interview on CNN on Thursday night.

“I would not have done what Mike Pence did. I don’t think that was the right approach,” she said during an interview on CNN on Thursday night.
Stefanik, a vocal supporter of Donald Trump, is widely seen as a potential running mate for the former president this election year.
The questions are simply put, but they are carefully designed to test a range of cognitive function. The test is designed to identify any material degree of cognitive impairment. Biden clearly has conspicuous symptom of substantial dementia. He would NOT pass a MoCA test. If you have any substantial degree of dementia (even "mild") the MoCA WILL DETECT IT. accurately and absolutely reliably. MoCA has been used and trusted by clinical psychologists, psychiatrists and neurologists in America for 50 years to date. So it is not the "extremely simple"/trivial/worthless, psychometric instrument that Biden claims it to be.
I do not know whether or not Biden has been given a MoCA test as a part of any yearly post-65 y.o. medical check-up. I SERIOUSLY doubt it. I mean I SERIOUSLY DOUBT if he had been made to sit a MoCA by an official, independent, WH physician who was not in the Democrat Party's pocket. If that was the case, and he has passed it fair and square, the fact would have been splashed across the MSM the next day. Your statement that "Biden did not think such a simple test required mentioning" is either a lie you have fabricated, or a typical, devious evasion that Biden was told to mouth by his Democrat fixers.
In any case DOJ Special Counsel, Robert Hur and his team have recently interviewed Biden and conducted a de facto MoCA (conitive function/mental acuity) assessment of their own. The bottom line of Robert Hur's lengthy report was that it had been decided to drop any criminal charges against Biden for his illegal mishandling of Classified government Documents BECAUSE - to put it in legal jargon - Biden was deemed to be non compos mentis. In the legal world "non compos mentis" is a Latin term that means "not of sound mind", or to put it bluntly, "insane". It means that the defendant lacks: the memory, a sound capacity to recollection, is chronically confused, has such diminished ability to reason ( think rationally) and to understand, that he lacks the mental acuity required to face a trial in Court. Make no mistake, this is the stark "sub-text" of the Special Counsels report; namely no charges will be forwarded against Biden - even though there is clear evidence of criminal behaviour/s in his wrongful handling of sensitive Classified government Documents - because he is deemed to be "non compose mentis" - "not of sound mind" and therefore [unable[/I] to defend himself at trial.
The Democrat MSM will have their work cut out trying putting any successful "spin" on the DOJ Special Counsel's (Robert Hur's) report because what is says is that we decided not to press any criminal charges - (and remember, the Prosecution had the goods on Biden; they had the solid evidence they needed to convict him) against Biden because we think he's clearly too mentally unfit to face trial. It is nothing to do with Biden's age (81 years old) it is all to do with the fact he currently has pronounced dementia. One of the text-book symptoms of dementia is memory loss. Ask yourself , how could a Court possibly determine Biden's guilt or innocence if he is unable to remember important events that the Prosecution and Defence legal teams question him about? Similarly, if his dementia has seriously diminished his ability to think clearly and rationally, how could he possibly engage in any Court-room proceedings in a meaningful manner? You might as well put a gerbil in the dock and try to cross-examine it, which, of course, would be absurd and also make a mockery of the law.
Within a day of the Special Counsel's report being released, for some reason (?) Biden's minders allowed him to address the press corps (solo) and then actually take questions from the crowd reporters present. Biden appeared behind the lectern on stage "high as a kite" on some psychostimulant (e.g; Addrenal, Vyvanse, Dexedrine, Ritalin or the like) In dementia, these drugs can boost cognitive function. It was obvious that he was dosed up because his speech was drwly and slurred, rather the tempo was sprightly and his enunciation was clear and quite crisp. He was also speaking coherently even when his was lying through his teeth. The thing with using "speed" to mask the symptoms of dementia is that it work a treat while the disease is still in its early stages, but dementia is a progressive disorder (it steadily gets worse with time) and a lot of medical experts in the field would say that Biden's dementia is currently quite advanced, that is his cognitive function has markedly deteriorated. This is why Biden made some shocking gaffes while he taking question at this press conference mainly to do with not being able to correctly remember the names important world leaders ( during his remarks at this press conference, defending his competency, while he was talking about the war in Gaza, Biden referred to Egyptian President, Abel Fattah el Sissi, as being head of Mexico; and earlier the same week Brandon referred to conversations he's had as President with two long-dead foreign leaders: Helmut Kihl and Francois Mitterrand - FFS !);so on Thursday night, the "speed" was able to allow him to speak without sounding like a zombie, but it did not stretch to re-boosting his degenerated, higher cognitive functions like memory, in particuler.
All in all, Biden's "crank-fuelled," emergency press conference, which was organised lightening-fast to damp-down the incoming shock-waves from the political bomb-shell that was the Special Counsel's report (which said: "Well folks, we can't charge Biden over the Classified Documents scandal because the old coot is just as crazy as bat-shit") quickly became a spectacular "Biden Balls Up", and a nightmare for the Democrats.
