"So now, not only do you not post your own opinions or beliefs on guns and the 2nd Amendment, you post cartoons instead of comments. And it is not even a cartoon that is original to these forums. Nice."
How could you see that post as me being a patriot and defending the constitution? Thanks, you just proved my point from post #18.

Are you saying you are not a patriot who defends the Constitution?

Far be it from me to doubt your patriotism and devotion to the Constitution.

My patriotism and devotion to the constitution is not the issue. You have tried to make claims about what I said that are untrue or misleading. I have said nothing about my patriotism or my devotion to the constitution.

You are just determined to leave no doubt that I was right in post #18, aren't you?

Why aren't you capitalizing "Constitution"? Don't you feel the Supreme Law of our land deserves respect?

Do you support the Second Amendment, or not?

You are sidestepping as quickly as you can, huh?

I have stated my beliefs concerning the 2nd amendment. You, however, have not. Would you like to do so now?

I support the Second Amendment to the US Constitution.

I'm proud to defend the law of our land.

Can you say the same?

If so, why don't you join me?

I have served in defense of our land and our Constitution. I was not saying anything negative about the constitution or about patriotism.

I was pointing out that your post proved my point about addressing people's posts as if they said something completely different than what they actually said.

Why not stick with discussion concerning what people actually say?

Thank you for your service. I'm glad we agree.

Yes you did, in post #19. You said "I assumed you are a patriot defending the Constitution.", when I had said absolutely nothing resembling that.

So you're not a patriot who defends the Constitution?

So you're not a patriot who defends the Constitution?

Once again, I did not say that.

But you quoted my post and said you assumed I was a patriot defending the constitution, when my statement had nothing whatsoever to do with being a patriot or defending the constitution. It was strictly a comment about you and your post.

So are you a patriot? Do you defend the Constitution?

Uh, not all of the founders agreed on the right to bear arms. That's why they added the "militia" part and the "militia" is loyal to and commanded by the President. There is no private right to bear arms and that's why you can find no founding document that supports your right to bear arms. It just does not exist.....and that's why it is still debated today. If you had the "right" to bear arms there would be no federal law requiring you to get permission to purchase a firearm. This was all debated and found constitutional before the first federal firearms laws were enacted.

SCOTUS disagrees with you. What part of "THE PEOPLE" do you not understand?

Are you all really this ignorant?
Do your home work...or watch "Doomsday Preppers".
The fella named Sarti just lost all of those weapons he was showing off on tv.
After the show aired the state of Tennessee decided the guy must be a nut and "revoked his privilege to carry or own firearms".
This isn't out of the ordinary. Every year hundreds lose their privilege to carry or own firearms in America.

Before the war of 1812 we had no standing army. The 2nd amendment was written to allow the people to fight in place of a standing army.
The militia of every province was loyal to the President and only the President could call up the militia!
It has nothing at all to do with your personal right to carry or own firearms.
We have had a standing army since the war of 1812 and the second amendment is obsolete.

But...all constitutional debate is just political theater now. The Patriot Act suspended the Constitution for the duration of the War On Terror.
Have you already forgotten?
"The Constitution Is Not A Suicide Pact"

I can guarantee you one thing...if you take on the government you will lose.
The lawyer who tells you that "the Constitution guarantees you the right to" blah blah blah....won't be the one behind bars!
