Justice Department NOW Targeting 3 Fox Reporters

Please note, I did not say that "stated it", I said they seem to believe it.

show us what made you think some Reps 'seem to believe' anything of the sort. Who suggested or implied any such thing Jarod?

Tell us who Jarod... or are you a pussy?

I gave you three cites... would you like them again?

Generally its the outrage Republicans seem to be showing over the Justice Department for investigating a Fox News "reporter" for what appears to be a crime.

This thread is a great example of that outrage, so I would point to that first.

Post number 1 on this thread... written by SJJRSJJS has led me to believe that he believes Fox News Reporters must be above the law.

1) You linked to this thread... there is no one on this thread that has said anything of the sort
2) You said 'you Republicans' indicating people ON THIS BOARD. Yet none on this board have said any such nonsense or implied such.

You are simply making shit up Garud. Because you are an ignorant piece of shit who is trying so desperately to appear clever. The board knows better Garud.

The following quote indicates to me that the poster believes Fox News Reporters are above the law, because he is outraged that a Fox News Reporter was investigated for breaking the law.

How long is this going to go on before something big happens? I am beginning to really dislike Libs, before I merely did not like them much. They are arrogant bastards who think that they can get away with anything, just read some of their BS on here. That is ok, the chickens will be coming home to roost, puk puk pukfukup'

"Report: Justice Department targeted TWO Fox News Channel reporters and a producer for talking with government sources"

"The Fox News Channel is outraged over new revelations that three of its reporting staffers were targeted by the U.S. Department of Justice in criminal investigations related to their attempts to obtain information from government sources.
James Rosen, the network's chief Washington correspondent, has become a First Amendment cause celebre over his treatment by the Obama administration. But the DOJ, Fox says, also investigated the Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter William La Jeunesse and Fox News producer Mike Levine.
Rosen, according to affidavits filed by FBI agents, was considered a possible criminal co-consp"

None of that suggests they are above the law Garud. You are simply lying.

According to you Eugene Robinson must also think reporters are above the law.

He at least explains why he does not think the government should be investigating, but you are correct, he does not acknowledge that its a legit endeavor for the Justice Department to investigate crimes. Maybe he does believe Fox News "Reporters" are above the law.

To me this all comes down to the fact that the Justice Department got a Warrant from a judge who ruled that there was Reasonable Suspicion to warrant the investigation the JD was conducting. Its not like when the Bush Administration conducted warrantless wiretapping.

BTW, did you defend the Bush Administration when they did that? Ill have to do some looking in the archives.

Also Garud... what law did he break? Cite the law you think he broke and then cite what he did in your view to break it.

The article I read indicated that he was offering "bribes" to government officials in an attempt to encourage him to disclose top secret information. Solicitation of espionage would be the likely charge.

Did you not read the articles??

Again Garud... WHAT law do you think he broke? You keep saying people think 'Fox reporters are above the law'... WHAT law? What law did he break? If he didn't break a law then how could anyone think he is above the law?

You apparently did not. Quit lying Garud.

No , I did, that's how I knew the dude was suspected of solicitation.

Did you? (or are you going to ignore that question also?)

LOL... suspected of solicitation? Solicitation of information is not equal to bribing you moron. You lied yet again.

typical partisan Rightie hack.

Demands Jarod respond with corroboration and even tosses in another petty ad hom for the hell of it, but doesn't demand any corroboration from fellow partisan Rightie NOVA...oh the HYPOCRISY!

Let's all sit back and watch while he finds a way to spin this so it's not his problem...
