Just so we're clear about muslims and homosexuals


Islam has many sects, many voices. the problem is the radicals are becoming more mainstream or more numerous in number

This isn't just occurring in Islam, the hatred of gays and claiming they should be put to death runs through all the Abrahamic religions, and is showing up in the mainstream as well with gays being given more rights.

but the Salafist are carrying out the attacks. Hadith in Islam says homosexuality is sinful and perverted.
That's pretty much across all sects. I can't find any exceptions.

Now add that to the virulence of ISIS, and (rise) of Salafists in general.

Yes, but who is to say it won't start happening elsewhere if those who preach this have a means to carry it out.
All who preach violence against gays should be criticized by society. There is violence committed against gays on a daily basis and it is usually by those who claim to be religious.

You can try and spin this about gays but it won't go far. It happens that this Islamic terror attack was against gays. Now that that's off the Bucket List its onto something else. Some other aspect of our lives or culture that pisses them off. Sports arenas, malls, churches etc etc.

It was awhile back after the San Bernadino debates that I posted some information from a group that did a nationwide study on radical Mosques in the US. An unsettling number of them either preached radical Islam, had radical literature on hand or didn't squarely condemn it.

The post went unanswered.

it is rightly condemned by "society" ( mainstream)..
This is another cause though for jihadists, besides caliphate, etc.

It isn't spin, gays are a target, and not only by ISIS.

Do you really not know about the preachers in this nation that preach death to gays?
