A jury convicted a movie weapons supervisor of involuntary manslaughter on Wednesday in the fatal shooting of a cinematographer by actor Alec Baldwin during a rehearsal on the set of the Western movie “Rust.”

The verdict against movie armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed assigns new blame in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in October 2021 after an assistant director last year pleaded no contest to negligent handling of a firearm.

Why the fuck do they allow real ammo on movie stages. They are a make-believe show that feels the need for weapon authenticity? How does that make sense?

Baldwin's trial is coming up.The proceedings were a preamble to the actor’s scheduled trial in July on the single charge of involuntary manslaughter. Baldwin has pleaded not guilty.

If Baldwin is found guilty, he has priors for violent crimes, like simple assault and the like... That means his sentence will likely get enhanced.
 
What Trumpys want is every liberal on the production to be charged. There is no case against Baldwin. Hannah fucked up so Biden should go to jail?. She was a professional armorer.
 
I dont have a lot of sympathy for her given who her dad is and that she has spent a lot of time on sets....she had to know better. However first and foremost this was the AD's fault....he got off way too lightly.

I do not believe Baldwin has any prior violent crime convictions. Do you have any evidence of your claims?
