Obama arbitrarily and illegally re-wrote our laws without Congress at every turn, none more than our immigration laws. A judge, who doesn't actually even have the authority to be deciding policy matters like this under the Constitution, issued an edict from on high decreeing that one president repealing the arbitrary and illegal laws of his predecessor obviously in no way violates the Constitution, contrary to everything liberals absurdly tell us. The Obama policy President Trump repealed was the Central American chain migration lunacy.

Magistrate Judge Laurel Beeler threw out the bulk of a lawsuit that argued the termination of the Obama-era Central American Minors program was arbitrary and violated the U.S. Constitution.

The program allowed parents legally in the U.S. to apply to bring children or other family members living in Honduras, Guatemala or El Salvador to the U.S.

Do you even know what the law is. You do know that there is nothing in the constitution requiring strict immigration controls? It's not mentioned once? Free immigration is in fact not a violation of your constitutional rights. I just want to get that out of the way.
 
Trump meanwhile is trying to amend the constitution with an executive order. Unlike Obama, he is not merely guiding enforcement of the law, or declining to enforce it strictly in some circumstances. He tries to enforce it more strictly than the law and constitution clearly allow. Basically he writes his own law. What Obama did was not a violation of the law, what Trump is doing *clearly* is not allowable. It's the difference between a blue law on the books that the cops don't really pay attention to, and the mayor literally issuing an executive order which has no basis in law.
