My father returned from WWII also, re-upped in the Navy for 4 more years.
Couldn't tell you if my mom had a headache. I wasn't born yet.
I haven't been complaining about too much.

2001? I don't think hating Bush had much to do with it, one way or another. We were still united as a country.

There is one America...which is why I don't support a justice system that is so obviously rotten to the core...It's not about support for Donald Trump... but it certainly does seem to be about hate for him... and most things conservative... I'm not even sure America has anything that can be properly labeled a court of law anymore...
 
Right now we are no longer remotely United as a country... and that certainly is a major concern...

but it's alarmingly obvious that some still don't.

so there may be some depressing truth in what you say.
