"Admits no wrongdoing..." :rofl2:

A judge has approved an agreement for President Donald Trump to pay $25 million to settle lawsuits over his now-defunct Trump University.

The decision Friday by U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel in San Diego ends nearly seven years of legal battles with customers who claimed they were misled by failed promises to teach success in real estate. The ruling settles two class-action lawsuits and a civil lawsuit by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

Trump had vowed never to settle but said after the election that he didn't have time for a trial, even though he believed he would have prevailed. Under terms of the settlement, he admits no wrongdoing.

Attorneys for the customers say thousands will get at least 90 percent of their money back.

On the national news tonite, they said as part of the settlement, students should get about 90% of their money back! That's better than nothing?!!

I thought Douchebag Donald was going to be forced to admit grave responsibility with that Mexican judge assigned to the case!

I actually wanted this to go to trial. It really is the best case to prove if Trump is really the super great fraud lefties thinks he is.

At the same time I can't see calling the President of the United States to a deposition or to the stand. I'm not saying they are above the law, just would look bad for our country.

I'm glad he settled and people get their money back, from what little I know of the case, I'm not sure Trump would have won.

The precedent was set when Clinton argued successfully to have the Paula Jones case delayed.
