JPP Prediction re: Hurricane Harvey

I've been though 6 hurricanes here in Florida. The lack of a.c. is the worst. My main staples have always been battery TV/radio/fan, water, pbj and crackers and baby wipes. Just heard Harvey is now a 4 and may be sitting there 3 or 4 days. God help them.

Trump will then talk about how america will be doing everything it can to help rebuild and repair the damages. Liberals will claim that he didn't condemn the hurricane enough. Trump will probably remark on the loss of life, but liberals will say that he wasn't sympathetic enough to the retards that died or something.

Well Grind this is the difference between people like you who lack moral character and normal people. While you anticipate a political outcome normal people are hoping like hell Trump doesn't even get an opportunity to show if he's as incompetent as Bush was during the Katrina response or not.

From my friends down in Texas it's believed this is going to be more of a rain event than a wind event so flooding and tidal surges are being anticipated as the likely to do the most damage.

Well you have to admit that Climatologists have made far more accurate predictions than Supply Side Economist ever have. Though I admit that's not exactly setting the bar very high for Climatologists since Supply Siders have never made any.

You forget that Bush relied on incompetent people at local level, like Blanco and Nagin. First response always come from the locals, then it goes up the chain of command. But I guess it is more beneficial and convenient to scapegoat.
Tell me what you would do if the flood waters are coming and you have a fleet of school buses at your disposal. Would you call the local school or the WH?
If it were me, I'd hotwire the buses and get out of dodge and apologize later.
