As far as I'm concerned, there isn't a true choice. Trump is thoroughly evil and dumb. So are his cult followers.

I think Stewart was tapping into the widespread displeasure about both candidates generally. Biden is embarrassing, but Trump is not an option for thinking Americans.

I'm going to disagree. The Administration should be challenged to make their case. The problem they have is that they are consistently responding to conspiracy theories and cult members They will not convince one person who believes any of that nonsense. The goal should be to highlight the accomplishments of a supposedly senile old man and a candidate who is not a good speaker and is gaffe prone. And there are many highlights that can be tied directly to the every day lives of Americans. Democrats are horrible at messaging. Stewart made a great point. FILM THAT. It isn't Stewart that needs to deliver a message, it's the Administration, and so far they have not been effective.

Stewart wants things done for Veterans, to accomplish those things he needs to support Biden and Democrats.

Stewart has a large following, they are more likely to respect Stewart’s opinions than what the Biden campaign puts out.

I think you'll find that over the next nine months, Stewart will eviscerate Trump. Destroy him. But this is still at the end of the day a comedy show. I'll take Stewart over Bill Maher every day of the week, and twice on Sunday. You know who else is watching Stewart? The Biden administration. And he is, IMHO, a positive in that he is not afraid to point out the mistakes that are being made without being smarmy like Maher.

I believe this election will be a rout. Not just the top of the ticket, but all down the ballot. I think Stewart will be a positive contributor to that. I see your point, but at the end of the day, this is a marathon, and we haven't even run a mile yet. Taylor Swift will have ten times the impact of any other celebrity, if she was mocking Biden, I'd be worried. I see Stewart being Stewart. We'll see how this plays out over the coming months.
