John Roberts Absurdly Suggests the Supreme Court Has No ‘Political Bias’

Said little in public. We have no idea what's been said in private.

Other than air the Court's dirty laundry and bitch, what power does he have to bring Alito and Thomas into line? He can't conduct a one-man impeachment, AFAIK.

Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito Ethics Violations Found in New Senate Probe

Valid consideration but Roberts has shown no sign nor desire to deal with either Justice, for beginners, he could recommend that the SCOTUS be held to the same ethics standards with enforcement that every other Federal Justice at every level work under

None. Does anybody in government, though? I know about Congress but the House didn't act on the ethical violations, AFAIK.
Agreed. No, but that's the point, they didn't want a single person to have all the power. They were the first people on the planet to defeat a British King and didn't want to have to fight that battle again.

American Tories, of course, pushed for George Washington to become King, but the good guys won that battle.

Agreed he could have spoken louder about the duties of a Justice and the integrity of the Court.
