Were they cheering the deaths of conservatives or merely commenting on their stupidity for believing Trump and the conspiracy theories about the vaccine.

The unnecessary deaths from COVID are/were tragic. But many were self-inflicted by Trump followers. At one point, it became more of a demographic disease (R vs D) than anything. The Rs being the victims.

The latter. Notice that, despite all the bitching and whining from Fatboy and Dr. Fartmouth, neither of them are willing to quote other JPP members gloating over deaths of Americans as they so often do.

Agreed on unnecessary deaths. OTOH, being a big fan of nature, I support Evolution in Action. I'm against helmet and seatbelt laws except for minors. If a person is so fucking stupid they won't use common sense, then I fully support letting nature take its course. That's not cheering for their death, that's simply accepting their death from stupidity as nature intended.

One problem We, the People, have is 50 years of Do-Gooders (Let's be honest: Democrats) trying to protect stupid people from themselves. I favor letting nature be the judge. Again, except for minors. Once they turn 18, they're on their own.

Oh, I agree. However, the real threat is not Congress. Enough checks there for awhile.

Where I see the real danger is at the state and local level where the REAL nut cases exist. School boards. County clerks. State legislatures. Governors. And especially, secretaries of state. Some of those are the ones in charge of our elections. The ones with the ability to purge voter roles, to disqualify voters, to really tilt an election.

You do not even need a majority to do that kind of damage. A determined minority can do it. And this pathetic minority IS determined.

When they finally wake up to what they have done, they will do what Col. Nicholson does in The Bridge on the River Kwai.
