We are less than 5% of the population getting more than 20% of the world resources. If we close our borders, that all disappears. We start being poorer than Mexico.... We would be basically along the lines of Ethiopia, with a slow rebuild to be similar to North Korea. It would be a disaster of epic proportions.
And what would it accomplish. trump supporters would still choose to use drugs. They would still do whatever it took to get their drugs. Even if they had to have their children starve, they would do that to get their drugs.

An open border just means that we still allow trade, commerce, and visitors beyond our border and we allow our own people to venture beyond our border.

Open border means that over 100K young Americans died from fentanyl, thousands upon thousands of get-aways could be and probably are arranging a terror attack on our nation, and blue cities like Sann Fran, L.A., N.Y.C. etc. are finally asking for federal help from the feckless biden admin to help fund their way out of the damage biden's illegals are doing to their leftist cities. We have cartels trafficking drugs and sex here in America thanks to biden's open border policy-welcoming committee of anti Americans.
