Joe Biden: My Plan to Extend Medicare for Another Generation

I have never had a problem getting a doctor to handle medicare Not once. Copays are at worst, 20 percent. That is 80 percent paid.
Social Security is in no way a Ponzi scheme. That is just so right wing wrong.

you should get an advantage plan......its way better than just having Medicare.......private insurance is the boss!......

Just quit fucking around and tell me what his “plan” is. Don’t bother if it’s just raise taxes and negotiate prescription drug prices. Those are band-aids.

he hasn't released it yet.......he says he will "this week"......but he's promised to fix it for a generation to come.....so I guess that means he kicks the bills down to our great grandchildren instead of our grandchildren......

After The New Chinese Empire succeeds in ruining the dollar (with a lot of help from our Failed Elite Class) none of this matters.

Buckle Up!

STRS and Medicare....I don't mind paying a bit for excellent coverage...;)

Advantage plan are great, so long as you are healthy. Spend some time in a hospital, and advantage plans suck big time!
Try going on vacation with your advantage plan, and seeing a doctor or hospital out of network. Lets hope your wallet is big and fat, cause you will need it.

lol.....why do you always post about things you lack knowledge of.....if I am "out of network" I pay the same rates I would pay under Medicare......you know, the rates you pay all the time.....

Thats total bullshit, since when you are out of network you pay much more under Advantage. You are either lying or have zero idea what your insurance is,

did you think there is such a thing as IN network under Medicare?.....the network IS the savings.....

Medicare Advantage can become expensive if you're sick, due to uncovered copays. Additionally, a plan may offer only a limited network of doctors, which can interfere with a patient's choice. It's not easy to change to another plan.

Network restrictions are another common reason why beneficiaries leave their Medicare Advantage plans. With Medicare Advantage plans, staying within your policy's network is key to paying the lowest possible costs for health services. Going out of your network could mean high fees or no coverage.

Whats the defining characteristic of a Ponzi scheme? I know you're too afraid to reply to me. The really weak leftists a kid me like the plague.

First define "reasonable" then we can talk. I bet you never actually get around to a definition.

Whatever a person pays for Medicare is cheap, very cheap, compared to what they would have to pay for private insurance. That is assuming a person over 65 could even get private insurance.

Ok so the first attempt at a definition for "reasonable" proved fruitless. Care for a second turn? They're free. And then "cheap, very very cheap" has been added with no definitional context.

Every plan is different sweets, ever insurer is different, every state is different, but for me, I pay about $400 monthly for medicare and a supplement.

It's irrelevant what you pay. You used the word "reasonable" and you really don't know what it means in the context of your claim. I'm not trying being an ass here like I usually am, it just seems you used the word for a different reason than for it's meaning. If we are ever to have useful conversations here this kind of thing needs to be addressed.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Here is a suggestion, call a health insurance company or insurance agent, anyone you choose, and ask them what a premium would be for a healthy 66 year old woman.
They may give you a quote once they stop laughing.

Millions of Americans work their whole life, paying into Medicare with every working day — starting with their first job, even as teenagers. Medicare is more than a government program. It’s the rock-solid guarantee that Americans have counted on to be there for them when they retire.

For decades, I’ve listened to my Republican friends claim that the only way to be serious about preserving Medicare is to cut benefits, including by making it a voucher program worth less and less every year. Some have threatened our economy unless I agree to benefit cuts.

You don't understand your own statement? You wrote this right?

"Do explain how a senior will get health insurance at a reasonable cost without Medicatre"

You realize that statement suggests that without Medicare, seniors would not be able to get health insurance at a "reasonable" cost, right? So I asked what "reasonable" means and you have thus far not offered an answer. You also havent offered any evidence that the statement itself is true. Look if you don't intend to answer the questions just say so and I won't keep bothering you.
