He admitted he lied about the story because the media started to notice he was not in that town on the day he claimed he was. HE LIED PERIOD!

Clinton was not relected after he lied about Monica.

I would have voted for anyone who had an affair unless they were the condeming type who claimed to be more Moral than others. ( like Rs always do)

Jindal has a very impressive educational background.
He's just sooo much of a sell out to the religious right it makes me sick that he runs the state I love.
 
That is why I think he was so nervious, he was saying things he doesnt believe because his partys base is so insanely right wing nut bag.

They re going to have to dump base and start over. They can only win the base if they cater to it. None of the other voters are going to accept the party with those ideas being front and center.
 
After reading Smith's blog entry, I'm not convinced Jindal lied so much as he may have stretched the truth a bit. The fact that he is being called on it is no surprise, better to tear him down now than wait four or eight years.

In the end, I'm not sure which is worse, Jindal stretching the truth, or Biden plagiarising his speeches.

The man lied, he made up dialouge for hells sake people.

Read this story and realize what it is intended to convey.

He was not in his office on that day, he even says it himself, he also now says it was days later he talked to him by phone.

No walking into the mans office on the day he was dealing with this.
