Carter had a good Congress, and a bad Congress.

One of them fucked the country over and Carter tried to stop it (he may have been a dreamer and oblivious, but he knew what they were doing was bad), but they overrode his veto.

Then Reagan's 2nd Congress did away with any representation of the people by Congress whatsoever.

Before Carter/Reagan days, people actually got represented by Congress. Now they voted themselves the Feudal Lords of America and representatives of the corporations.

Unlimited lobbying with no penalties and insider trading is allowed. What could go wrong? :thinking:

Congress is the most corrupt branch and needs to be dialed back to the 60s, true story.
