There is no dodge there.

You seem to think misinformation is not a thing of value.

Those are presenting people to the public have a duty and obligation to try and ensure they are credible first otherwise you spread headline misinformation for weeks or forever while putting a small retraction (if any) on the back page later, once proven wrong.

In the days before Fox type misinformation was the norm, proper journalism required that the fact checking happen FIRST in stories like this.

Instead now what you have is a story like this can be MADE UP by any group, dozens of Fox segments platform and express their rage, and then (post big lawsuit loss) Fox will do a singular CYA retraction that 99% of their viewers will never see, and so the lie lives on with conservatards convinced it was truth.

You call that a 'dodge' as you believe all misinformation should just be put out alongside the vetted information as it serves the purpose of keeping the republiclowns in line.

And the sad thing is she is the most credible of the 'whistleblowers' the republicunts have brought forth lately.

She is far more credible than the fake FBI whistleblowers who were suspended for actively engaging with and supporting the Insurrectionists and trying to help them avoid charges by the FBI. She is far more credible than Jim Comers 'missing' whistleblowers who they know they cannot even show.

When they looked at Melissa, amongst all their other 'whistleblowers' they felt 'here is a good one, lets present her'.

Gym Jordan hid the information on the hearings from the Dems. It is obvious that he thought he could ram this mess through before the Dems could get the info to react. But his phony whistleblowers were exposed as disgruntled workers who were fired for breaking rules and laws. This is repub theater. They have nothing, again.
