Ramallah, occupied West Bank – At least nine Palestinians have been killed and scores wounded in an Israeli army raid in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to the Palestinian health ministry.

At least 102 people were wounded on Wednesday – 82 hit by live ammunition, the ministry said. Six were in critical condition.

Ramallah, occupied West Bank – A general strike is being observed across the occupied West Bank one day after Israeli forces killed six Palestinians and wounded dozens of others.

Businesses in cities including Jenin, Nablus and Ramallah shut their doors on Wednesday morning in response to the killings.

Israeli army kills three near Nablus

The Israeli army killed three Palestinians in an early morning raid near Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank on Sunday.

The Lions Den, an armed resistance group based in Nablus, said its militants had moved to ambush troops with the Golani Brigade, an elite unit within Israel’s military that was stationed near a checkpoint in the area, when an armed confrontation took place.

Israeli fire killed three militants in Surra, a town near Nablus. They were identified by the Lions Den as Jihad al-Shami, Odai al-Shami and Muhammad al-Dbeik.

An Israeli army raid has killed four Palestinians, including a teenage boy, near the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, Palestinian officials have said.

The Palestinian health ministry identified three of the dead on Thursday as Youssef Shreem, 29, Nidal Khazim, 28, and Omar Awadin, 16. The identity of the fourth is not immediately known.
