‘Place the Material in the Wells’: Docs Point to Israeli Army’s 1948 Biological Warfare'

For decades, rumors and testimonies swirled about Jewish troops sent to poison wells in Arab villages. Now, researchers have located official documentation of the ‘Cast Thy Bread’ operation

On April 1, 1948, David Ben-Gurion wrote in his journal about “the development of science and speeding up its application in warfare.” A month and a half later, he wrote about “biological materials” that were purchased for $2,000. Only now, 74 years later, has a connection between these two entries come to light. The disturbing story behind them was recently uncovered by historian Benny Morris and historian and Israel Prize laureate Benjamin Z. Kedar following extensive archival research. Evidently, the excerpts from the diary of the man who would become Israel’s first prime minister are traces of his involvement in a secret operation to poison the drinking water of Arab communities during the War of Independence.

Israeli settlers attack Palestinian school in West Bank, set fire to classroom

In a new act of provocation, a group of extremist Israeli settlers have attacked a school at a village near the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, setting ablaze a classroom.

Palestine’s Wafa news agency, citing local sources, reported on Sunday that the raid by Israeli settles took place at the village of Urif, south of Nablus in the middle of the night.

Ghassan Daghlas, a local Palestinian activist, said settlers from the nearby notorious settlement of Yitzhar entered the village and shattered some of the school’s windows, as they vandalized the equipment there.

This comes amid heightened Israeli military restrictions and shutdown of several roads in the occupied territories, coupled by a noticeable increase in attacks by extremist Israeli settlers on vulnerable Palestinian communities in the region.

Acts of sabotage and settler violence against Palestinians and their property are commonplace throughout the occupied territories, particularly in the West Bank. However, Israeli authorities rarely prosecute the settlers and the majority of the files are closed due to deliberate police failure to investigate properly.

Settler violence includes property and mosque arson attacks, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Israeli settlers attack Palestinians in Nablus amid army siege
Settlers have carried out increased attacks in Nablus over past month, injuring dozens of Palestinians amid heightened tensions in the occupied West Bank.

Nablus, occupied West Bank – On the morning of October 4, dozens of Israeli settlers raided the Huwwara Secondary Boys School, south of Nablus city in the occupied West Bank, beating staff members and students and smashing cars and class windows before retreating.

School principal Abdulhameed Shehadeh said the sense of safety and security he tried to ensure for his 350 students was shattered in the wake of the violent attack, during which one of the settlers pulled out a gun and pointed it at the teachers and students.

There is no ' god in reality therefore there are no ' god's chosen people '.
Even a fictional god would not elevate 0.02% of the world's population above the rest.

Admirable. I respect and recommend the teachings of non-religious practitioners, Krishnamurti, Alan Watts, David Attenborough, Carlos Castaneda, Don McCullin, Gary Willis, Naomi Klein.

they are spiritual.

not all of them are on the up and up.

krishna murti for examples was an astroturfed though very wise man who left the benjamin creme organization, cuz they're nazis.

alan watts successfully integrate buddhism and christianity in my view.

he's a hero of mine.
