That's how Harold Ford thinks of himself. LOL This is the dem running for Senate. He also like playboy bunnies.............

It would certainly backfire in anyplace outside the south...where the thought of a black man putting his hands on a white woman is still anathema to good ole southern white boys....

In TN, it is a descpicable, but, unfortunately, effective ad.

Bunnies are not my type, Ive always liked the slim smaller brested women compared to the huge mellon type.

actually, not every bunny had D cups.... the gals in England were notably smaller chested than their American counterparts... and the ones at the playboy clubs in Manila and Sapporo were even less busty

I have had two different business meetings/dinners at the playboy club in miami....what is the big deal...they wear more closthes than the waitresses at hooters for goodness sakes....

Republicans, the RNC that ran this add ran it purely as a racist add, showing the blonde that the black man could fool around with or rape....

otherwise there would be NO REASON to make an add like this, for Christmas sake, if you can';t see that tobes, then I don't know what to say...there were 5000 other people at this superbowl party, including bill o'reily....

the RNC is disgusting and disingenuous to say the least....nothing but scum in their tactics....but hey, I wouldn't expect anything more thanb that from them....

this is backfiring on them, as it should....imo....

I thought the ad was effective in showing the contrast of stance on some issues still deemed important in South. Whether you like it or not, it was an effective ad for the time it ran, and with the added attention given to it by the media, it will work well for the republicans.......may not be enough but will work well.

More evidence of Southern inbreeding. We shoulda let 'em go when we had the chance . . . .

Only a racist would find that ad racist..........and by your responses my case is proven. LOL The charge is silly, you don't think the voters in TN know that Ford is black? Who is fooling who with racism charges?

HaHaving seen the ad, I say that it was clearly racist. More correctly, it is playing on bigotry.

And I think this post shows a disconnect between people's way of thinking. I have asked several people around here who have seen the add and have not found 1 person, either a Democrat or a Republican, who thinks that it was a racist ad. It's extremely interesting to me, this different way of viewing things that exists in this country. I try to read and understand all I can about it, mainly so I will know where the "other person" is coming from.

the ad had a very specific audience: white males who bristle at the thought of black men putting their hands on white women.... it was effective for its target audience, and the RNC clearly could give a shit if it offends anyone else outside of TN.

all southerners are racist inbreeding............love the understanding of liberals! LOL Libs are so full of hate...........
