I heard him a couple days ago - i've been too busy working.
He basically said he'll work with Trump where it meets their interests, and oppose him where they do not.
So what is that? "working across the aisle?" did you hear anything different about compromising for the common good?

People need jobs in the big inner cities. The infrastructure of the inner cities always seems to get left behind. Too many resources go to things like new Arenas, Stadiums , developers prettying up the downtown areas for tourists, etc. Even it up and put the resources into the people of the cities, not the special interests.

Rural America gets forgotten also. In their defense though that is why they are a more independent American than others. They have to be.

What's wrong with trying to help the urban poor? Democrats have been helping them to little avail for decades now. Hell, even Calypso Louis has given up on the democrats.
The dirty little secret is there's little distinction between poor urban and poor rural. Except the former group gets played to by democrats because their votes are important to in order for them to win in the big cities. The poor rural folks are in flyover country and the democrats traded them in for the identity-vote.
If the secret gets out, your party is toast. I would suggest the democrats get out ahead of Trump on it.
