I said it yesterday - implying you don't like the "guys who were captured" is disrespecting our military. Tweeting negative comments that could undermine an ongoing military effort is disrespecting our military. Giving away confidential intelligence information because you're bragging about what you know in a meeting is disrespecting our military.

There is so much hypocrisy here that it's tiring to even start to scratch the surface. I see so much more patriotism in people who are willing to put themselves out there to take a stand for injustice than I do in guys like Trump who wave the flag & give it lip service, all while acting in a way that betrays those phony platitudes.

The NFL bears responsibility - but what's happening this week is basically all on Trump. He stoked a fire that was down to its last embers.

It's what he does. We've never had a leader who thrived so much on conflict and division, and sought to actually increase it rather than alleviate it.
