Jerry Jones and the entire Cowboys team take the knee

Why don't you care about intent? You're just like a libbie who screams "racist" as soon as they hear the n-word.

If you listen to the players at all, nothing they are doing is disrespecting the flag or our soldiers. Stop making that aspect of it so dramatic - it's not their intent. You seem to want to be offended.
disrespecting the flag, disrespecting those who sacrificed so much defending that flag and our freedoms is exactly what they are doing.

Unless you can explain to me what that flag and our anthem has to do with their cause of course.
which you can't, won't, or don't care to

Again, it's intent. Many of those guys have family who served, and all of them love the country. YOU choose to make it a "disrespecting the flag and military" thing.

The anthem, for them, is the part of the game where they can make a point about the COUNTRY. You can love the country and think it still needs some work - we salute and honor countless people in history for doing just that, and for effecting positive change.

You're always so mad and upset over what other people do...kind of like constant victimhood or something. Take your stand for what you feel is worthwhile, do what you can and then get about the business of living. The point is that some people will always disappoint me, you, everybody. So what! Never give so much control to others over your worth, station in life or peace.

Will jocks keep disrespecting the flag, anthem and country? Of course. That ship has already sailed and the dock it sailed from has already burned down. And, I'll toss in my 2 cent opinion probably. Will I allow them to rob me of my peace? No.

No one cares for the advice of a simpleminded bible thumper.
Shut the fuck up.

tsk tsk..you've become an unhinged, unprincipled, foul mouthed, race hustling, caricature of a thoughtful persona.

I seriously- above all- hope to Great Buddha you are not representative of MS thought of the black community.

If you are, we're all doomed.

Be assured, you represent none but the low order of southern racists, glib and blissful in your ignorance.

Dude, I'm not free to use my job as a platform to protest.

Well in theory I'm free to do it. But patients who I come in contact aren't interested in my political views and my boss would have me in the office if I were to start with on the job protesting. It has absolutely nothing to do with the First Amendment. But I am a *professional* so I wouldn't do it anyway. Kap and the rest are supposedly professional athletes---but I guess they consider themselves a special case of professional.

It has nothing to do with freedom. I'm not even sure what it's about, so maybe you can explain it.

He did explain it.
It is about freedom vs anti freedom.
It is about a president who calls for blacks to be fired in spite of their first amendment rights but says murdering nazi scum are "fine people"
It is about a potus picking a winner in business

It is about a potus telling us to boycott an American business which he should not be doing.

I'm on the side of the intelligent who understand America and understand this protest, that makes you the moron.

Right...err....left, those who respect the flag, and the nation are morons. But....you intended no "disrespect" with your protest of my opinion? Really? Thanks for the object lesson in left wing fascism...as I said, even the stupid are entitled to their opinion even when they demonstrably contradict their own position. You show disrespect by claiming there is no disrespect? Its typical a leftist.....those that don't agree with your speech are morons because they express their own constitutional rights. LMAO;)

Here's the bottom line. NFL owners are probably some of the most racist rich White Americans on the planet. Most are charter members of that proverbial "good ole boys club".

They are tap dancing on this issue right now.

Ask yourself what they would do should this issue start affecting their bottom line, MONEY.
They would spin this around so fast your heads would spin.

One other thing is clear, every owner is much smarter than you, it is already affected their incomes yet they kneel and stand in solidarity with their(mostly black) players so....you are wrong, as usual, because you are stupid white trash.

I affect more people's lives in more important ways than Kap ever will.

I'm just another working class nobody. Some of you people really don't get it.
I am sure what you do is honorable. That's not the point. You don't work at a job that has a national audience. If you protested at your job only a handful of people would know.

The NFL has a national audience, you don't know how many lives Kaep will affect by standing up for what he believes is right. He sacrificed his career for his beliefs, that is powerful whether you agree with him or not, there are few people who would do that.
