Jerry Jones and the entire Cowboys team take the knee

Um....no. The issue hasn't changed. Kaepernick is being black listed in the NFL. That's what this year's actions are about. The pasty white racists in this country are trying to make this about something else.

So which is it, police brutality?, systemic racism? Donald Trump? pasty white racist?
you realize how confusing your every thought on every issue is,
It's really hard to follow you when your thoughts are jumbled day to day.

Stand for something, pick something, anything

Um....no. The issue hasn't changed. Kaepernick is being black listed in the NFL.

and wait, I thought the owners were behind the protest, so they should be lining up to see who gets Kapernick.

Do you see your confusion yet? please, give us more :rofl2:

He found a modicum of good in the Nazi movement, citing 'fine people' who were bearing torches. Why can't he find some 'fine people' when the colored people are protesting?
He was referring to those who came to protest to save the statue..but enough of that minutia-lemme see if i can address your point.

EZ.
this wasn't an attack on 'colored people' it was against the behavior of kneeling for the flag.
of any player of any color.

the kneelers keep shape-shifting to a different message ( my comment on shifting the goal post).
1st it was BLM type concerns. then it was unity -or anti-Trump..then the kneelers became arm lockers-
except for the guy who came out and stood at attention, who then claimed he just stumbled into that....
....what was the question??..

You don't think this was a show of solidarity for Kap, before the orange buffoon took to Twitter? Now it's about denouncing the Nazi sympathizer in the White House.

I have heard many things that this is about. It will be short lived. There is no stated goals. It’s a joke

I need a scorecard to keep up .. ( pretty slick references- huh?)

would you PLEASE MAKE UP YOUR MIND?? as to what this "is"

The Dallas Cowboys took a knee Monday prior to the national anthem, but stood for the performance with locked arms. The Arizona Cardinals did the same, joining a lengthy list of NFL athletes who protested in some form before Week 3 games after Donald Trump made divisive comments throughout the weekend.

Joining the Cowboys for the kneel prior to anthem — which drew boos from the Arizona crowd — were owner Jerry Jones and coach Jason Garrett.

Jerry Jones ??? :whoa:

:0) Coolness ..

The Bill of Rights is a hell of a thing. These protests prove one thing.....everyone is free to express their opinion and their voice be it in spoken language or symbolism, the 1st amendment is alive and well in the United States of America....even when that right of speech makes some angry. Its a slap in the face to the Brown Shirt/hooded blackshirts Fascists on the left that attempt to silence speech with violence because they don't agree with that speech. Where's the riots by those on the right that don't agree with the disrespect shown to our Nation that protects and allows them to make millions playing a child's game by these pompous spoiled men playing for a living?

There were no riots, no destruction of private property, no 10 men beatdowns on a single person who chose to wear a Cowboys/Steelers shirt that day, no police called out to protect the thugs who are protesting the very police that protect them nor is there likely to be any rioting in the streets by those who support American values. Any protest from the right will come when these pompous assholes find themselves a few million dollars short in their wallet.

When the attendance falls off, when viewership falls off....see just how fast this latest "in vogue", self flagellating pat on the back (as all liberals do to get the adulation from their peers) fades into the background.

In this nation EVERYONE is protected in speech, in the right of assembly, to publish (even lies when those lies are directed at anyone that makes a living from public appearances), the freedom to worship (even if that worship is directed at self such as human secularism), freedom FROM....unlawful search and seizure, freedom from slavery and involuntary servitude, the right to vote....its these freedom's that define just what it means to be an American.

Its sad to say that even the stupid have a right to express their opinion...even if you HATE what that opinion might be, or that opinion is demonstrably wrong and "UNAMERICAN". #

I say, GO FOR IT....karma is a bitch. :good4u:

Example: Chicago beat down Pittsburgh after the team disrespected the nation that provided this forum of exhibition. Chicago! who went 3-13 last year and were 0-2 this year.
That's what's funny....the left always attacks the very things that support and allow their actions. The black's riot and destroy their own neighborhoods...now the NFL players are biting the very hands that feed these animals....the Bears, the Colts, the Cardinals..etc., and of course that hand belongs to the FANS who paid their money to see a football game, they did not come to see a bunch of overgrown kids attempting to get in touch of their feminine side by holding hands and kneeling in protest because one of their playmates was placed into timeout. If they want'ed to see that they'd visit their nearest snowflake U.

If I was an owner I'd pass on Kap too.

But not for raycism. There's this thing called the business model. If I hire a QB/SJW who grandstands before every game and brings boo's from my ticket holders, I'm screwing myself. I want my ticket holders happy.

If he was a Tom Brady, it might be different. But he isn't, so owners didn't want to take a risk on Kap because of his baggage.

Have you expressed that here?

No. Because I believe 99% of LE does a great job, and shouldn't be demonized for the actions of a few. It's a tough job, and they are the thin blue line between law and order and total anarchy.

Libtards seem to want anarchy. Thinking they will have more indi freedom to smoke weed, etc. But anarchy would be horrible. It would be jungle warfare, just like in Somalia.

The boos were even cooler. Shitting on the flag doesn't fly in this country.
They aren't shitting on the flag, protest is a part of our heritage, Jefferson encouraged it. It is what makes our nation great. When you put the American flag before American people is when flag worship becomes dangerous. The flag is a symbol and I don't worship it.

That's what's great about the US...no? Even the stupid and wrong have the same rights as those who have a different opinion. If you can look at this and declare there was no "disrespect"...what side of the ledger do you think you reside?

I'm on the side of the intelligent who understand America and understand this protest, that makes you the moron.

The "disrespecting the flag" and "spitting on our military" thing is a false, talk radio-fabricated narrative.

The NFL players' actions are neither. Any thinking human understands this. Talk radio doesn't rely on thinking humans.

Excellent...........................:)

NFL Owner Bans ALL Players From Protesting The National Anthem

Sept., 2017

Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys should get NFL owner of the year. While a number of NFL players have taken a knee during the National Anthem before games to protest racism and police brutality, Jones has told his players that they will stand during the National Anthem or they are outta there. Slow clap. And now comes the whinging and whining. Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin is the one that said that one or more NFL owners “have told their players to do specific things or to not do specific things … regarding the National Anthem and the protests,” which the Seahawks wide receiver said he thought was “egregious.” Jones was not mentioned by name, but it is widely believed he is one of those referenced NFL owners.

“The one quote that I was informed of was, ‘You’re going to stand on the line with your hand on your heart and you’re going to sing the National Anthem because this is my stage,” Baldwin recalled. Look, you have the right to protest if you want. You can be as big an asshat as you desire. But you also have to be willing to take the brunt of the ensuing consequences of your actions. The owner of the team has a right to demand his players stand for the National Anthem. He owns the freaking team and whether being a patriot or the bottom line drive what he does, in the end, it’s his team. Live with it or leave. Choose wisely.

Baldwin has been part of the Black Lives Matter protests. As far as I’m concerned, he’s a racist. He’s following in the footsteps of Colin Kaepernick and he’s actively sitting during the National Anthem. If it were my team, he’d be gone and I wouldn’t give a flying rip what anyone thought of it. The National Anthem is not about race. It’s about being American. You are dissing your country when you kneel or sit during the National Anthem. Protest on your own time. Over 70 percent of the NFL is black, so racism has nothing to do with you playing football. Get over yourself already.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been a solid critic of the players’ protests, calling the decision to not stand a disappointment. He praised players on his own team for not participating, saying, “We strongly, strongly support the flag in every way we support — and it’s almost ridiculous to be saying — the people that for generations and generations that have given it all up so that we can get out here and show off in front of millions of people on television.” That makes me love the Cowboys even more. How dare players show outright hatred for the police and military. Maybe they should go play for Cuba.

Jones added that the NFL was an important forum for America and Americans. “And I’m for it being used in every way we can to support the great, great contributors in our society,” he said. “And that’s people that have supported America, the flag, and there’s no reason to not go all out there. And for anybody to use parts of that visibility to do otherwise is really disappointing.” I agree 100 percent. Perhaps these football players need to remember that it is America that gave them the opportunity to be great and wealthy in the first place.

:0) You mean the same Jerry Jones who took the knee last night?

This isn't about the anthem ..

... and if I may, do you counsel the blatant right-wing racists on your side of the fence as you attempted to do to me?

Answer: No, you don't.

Nothing more to add. :0)

The "disrespecting the flag" and "spitting on our military" thing is a false, talk radio-fabricated narrative.

It seems a majority of NFL fans disagree.

It seems a majority of NFL fans disagree.

The new poll by Rasmussen finds that 34 percent are less likely to watch the NFL because of the protests. Only 12 percent said the protests made them more likely to watch while 50 percent said the protests did not impact their viewing habits.
