Jean-Pierre on drilling more in the US: 'We don't need to do that'

Onshore idiot

It’s states all that in the clip I gave you shit brick brain
You need a collection pipeline to get the gas on shore. So If your rig is several miles from other rigs you have to build a pipeline from the rig to the nearest pipeline heading to shore. Biden is making building ANY new pipeline much harder by new regulations. An new pipeline permit takes 9 months or more just to get. In the state of Texas you can get a new pipeline permit in days not months.

Onshore

In onshore drilling facilities, the wells are grouped together in a field, ranging from a half acre per well for heavy crude oil to 80 acres per well for natural gas.16 The group of wells are connected by carbon steel tubes which sends the oil and gas to a production and processing facility where the oil and gas are treated through a chemical and heating process.17 Onshore production companies can turn on and off rigs more easily than offshore rigs to respond to market conditions.18

Note the word onshore everywhere in this statement from them?

Onshore onshore onshore

It’s talking on shore production
OK here is a really really hard question for you. Steel tubes that carry oil or gas are called .

A. Straws
B. Veins
C. Pipelines.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre shot down calls to increase oil drilling in the U.S. Thursday, saying the country doesn't need it.
Jean-Pierre made the comments in response to questions from Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy. Doocy pressed Jean Pierre to explain why President Biden's administration is seeking to alleviate skyrocketing gas prices by calling on oil companies to increase productivity at refineries instead of calling for more drilling.

Jean-Pierre argued that oil companies cut refinery capacity at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic and have yet to increase that capacity back to pre-pandemic levels. Biden argues this, combined with Russia's invasion of Ukraine, is causing the increase in gas prices.

"Why not just drill more here in the U.S., though?" Doocy asked.

"Because we don't need to do that," Jean-Pierre responded. "What we need [oil companies] to do is, with the oil that's out there, we need them to refine that oil so that the capacity can go up and that prices would go down."

=======================================

We are running at 92% capacitance on our refineries. We normally run at 92-94% capacitance in June and July. We need to drill more and produce more oil and that would drive the price of oil down no mater what oil expert Jean-Pierre says.

Drilling will do absolutely nothing to alleviate todays gas problems. Karine also mentioned, of course you wont post it, but the oil companies own 9000 leases on property they haven't even begun to drill. Why not?

I agree! GET TO MAKING MORE GASOLINE- and all this while the major oil companies are making record profits up over 1,000% THIS YEAR ALONE for running us dry deliberately- Just to cause the price increases!

I want to see Biden TAX THE FUCKING SHIT OUT OF THESE SWINDLERS!

Some leases are explored and deemed to risky to drill. All exploration and drilling require investment of huge capital. Raising money for fossil fuel has become harder because of ESG. Huge investment companies like Blackrock are avoiding fossil fuel investment. And having a lease does not mean you also have a drilling permit and a pipeline permit to get your product to market.

Did you whine when EXXON lost $22.4 billion in 2020?

And you are best about complaining about an industry you have no idea about how it works. Biden is just gaslighting you and you are too ignorant to realize it sweetie cowpie.
