Jared Williams is facing up to 11 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to hacking the webcams of Miss Teen USA and other young women, and threatening to go public with pictures he secretly took of them naked.
Jared admitted in court that he tried to blackmail his victims by telling them he would post the nude pictures on social media if they didn’t send him more naked photos.
“I hacked several girls’ computers and, using their webcams, took photos of them when they weren’t aware,” Jared told Judge James Selna in the courtroom.
