"Snopes" isn't very popular with conspiracy believers, but that doesn't mean it's a fraud.

Over the years I have noticed that they seemingly have different standards for anti-GOP stories than anti-DNC stories. For instance a negative story for the DNC seems to get a "false" when they cannot find proof for it and a negative story of the GOP is more likely to get an "unproven" when they cannot find proof for it. This double standard seems to apply up the food chain unless there is so much evidence against the negative DNC stories they have no choice but to admit they are true.
