Jackson, Biden's Supreme Court pick, refuses to define the word 'woman'

It really isn't. On the other hand, virtually all of the Q & A I've seen with her so far has her giving non-answers to every question tossed at her. That is, she doesn't answer the question but rather equivocates, obfuscates, or otherwise weasel words an evasion of an answer. Her repeatedly saying that something asked isn't a "legal matter" per se and that she can't or won't comment on it tells me that her handlers and preppers advised her to avoid straight / direct answers to questions that might then be used in a 'gotcha' scenario.

In short, she's not telling the committee much of anything about her other than she's a good weasel of a liar...err, lawyer. Good lawyers make lousy judges. That's because a good lawyer has no scruples or morals and is willing to do anything to win for their client. A good judge has to have a moral grounding and the firmly fixed set of values that go with that.

Pretty obvious the Republicans here are attempting to portray themselves as victims, voicing all the cultural “issues” they want center stage come next November, none of it has anything to do with Ketanji Brown Jackson

All of the theatrics are for Fox, they know she is over qualified, they even approved her earlier nomination 53-44 last year, all orchestrated drama, which apparently, you swallowed as intended, shocker

I see that you cannot see that they were trolls who threw baits at her. She's not dumb. Those questions have no bearing on being a Justice.
 
USA deserves to have it's bones picked clean by China. We are simply unable to govern - in this case
"advise and consent" if a nominee can't even provide a basic definition of woman

when I went to high school it was "learn Spanish" now they should be teaching Chinese

They are doing a very moderate version of the hate filled vitriol that has been tossed at Republican nominees by the Democrats. I don't think she's dumb either. I do think she's a complete weasel.

advise and consent- like other attributes of Constitutional process are simply being tossed to the wayside
