Jack Smith requests an order to shut Trump up

Trump is poisoning the potential jury pool. When a grand juror in Georgia, a Repub, was asked how she could vote for Trump to be charged she said "There would not be so much dissention in America if they saw the evidence that we did." Trump is trying to make it more difficult to seat neutral jurors.

he's entitled to a jury of his peers......if you only allow the ones who are convinced he's guilty before they hear any evidence they are his inferiors....

I almost think that's his plan. To be the first political prisoner in the U.S. maybe ever. That isn't going to happen.

I think he is worried about it.

But, I don't think even the Justice Department wants to treat him like a common criminal!

Donald Trump will probably spend 6 months in a Club Med jail, where his CIA protectors shuttle UBER meals from fancy and fast food restaurants into his room morning, noon, and night, and entertain him by playing carpet golf and Monopoly with him to pass the time.

And some bleeding heart Democratic president will more-than-likely pardon him in the end.

Where will he go to serve his New York prison sentence? How about the Georgia prison sentence? And the stolen document case? By the time Trump gets out jail for those, he will have been hit with multiple other indictments, including for insurrection. Trump is going to spend the rest of his life in prison unless he makes a deal. The J6 sentences are instructive. If the leader of the Proud Boys got two decades in prison, what will the guy directing him get?

I am, just sayin' that the Justice department is already treating Trump like he is some kind of privileged character.

I think it stems from the combination of Merrick Garland trying to prove to the Republicans he is some kind of a non-biased Justice person, and Joe Biden always trying to prove he is trying to bring the two parties back together. I think they have both bent-over-backwards trying to prove it, to a point that they are both OVERDOING IT!

You can't be nice to Republicans- you give them an inch and they will take a mile! You give them anything, and they will turn around and stab you in the back with it! You cannot just play around with Venomous snakes!

And the Republicans never play fair- OR EVER GIVE ONE SQUIRT OF RUNNY SHIT ABOUT HOW LOW THEY CAN GO TO ACCOMPLISH THEIR HATE AGENDA, POLITICAL GOALS OF SELF-INTEREST, AND GENERAL TYPICAL MALEVOLENCE!

Fair enough. But the special counsel has complete independence to prosecute and recommend sentence. And of course the courts are not subject to that type of political pressure. That said, Trump is being treated like a white collar criminal when he should be treated like a mob boss.
