The Michigan case does not directly tie to Trumpy, However, it was much bigger. It was Trump, working through Meadow who organized the fake electors in several states. If each state is treated singly, Trump may escape However it was a multi-state plot organized by an elevated Trumpy. Perhaps it was Daffy Donald's idea in the beginning.

I'd say 'not yet tied to Trump. But charging him in every state is just piling on. What's really interesting about this is that it has the potential to dismantle Republican parties in key states. Too bad, so sad. If there was an overall conspiracy that was coordinated by Trump or his cronies, then everyone who participated in this plot in every single state is going to end up being indicted. Fulton county has cleared the docket for THREE WEEKS. I suspect that's to accommodate the processing dozens of high profile arrests. The proverbial shit is about to hit the fan. Both sets of indictments are going to drop within a week or two of each other, and all are going to involve a large number of defendants. My take.
