Make sure you drink the whole bottle and swallow, just like you swallow Trump's bullshit daily.

A groundbreaking new peer-reviewed study has found that ivermectin use in COVID-19 patients during the pandemic resulted in a staggering 74 percent reduction in excess deaths.

According to the ecological study, a natural experiment occurred when the government of Peru authorized ivermectin for use during the pandemic.

The Peruvian government’s decision resulted in evidence of the drug’s effectiveness and ability to reduce excess deaths.

The paper’s results were published on August 8 in the renowned peer-reviewed Cureus Journal of Medical Science.

The peer-reviewed study found a 74 percent reduction in excess deaths in 10 states with the most intensive ivermectin use over a 30-day period following peak deaths during the pandemic.

Interesting. But I wouldn't yet bet the farm on it. While Cureous is a legit open-access peer reviewed journal it is known to have a very "fast" review process. Plus this is just one study from one place.

I'd wait for more science to happen. (And not rely on Trump for science)

SOme other issues for Cureous journal:

For a DIFFERENT drug and a different research group in Brazil working on COVID with another study on this retracted a version that made it into print in Cureous was later found to have some problems too:

...another trial of the same drug come under scrutiny after Bolsonaro promoted it, according to Science magazine. A preprint reporting the results of that trial claimed giving proxalutamide to hospitalized COVID-19 patients reduced deaths by 77%. The group later published an updated paper in Cureus that reiterated the dramatic result. Brazil’s research regulator identified multiple issues with the trial, and the country’s attorney general is investigating “possible violations of medical ethics and human rights,” the BMJ reported in November.

In other words: Pump the brakes just for a bit until real science happens.

I've somehow avoided the covid virus deploying the "official" covid injections.

What's more than that, I've still seen no signs of being tracked
from the tracking chips that were put into the vaccines.

I'm almost 77.

I guess that they're not going to consider me dangerous until I'm at least 85.
The Niblicks who made it to 85 were traditionally real pricks, so they know what they're doing.

Are there new covid shots and are you getting them? Do you get a flu shot and the other old people inoculations? Just curious... you don't have to answer if you don't want to... ( didn't your other nib lick relatives make it to 85 with out any or all of those?)

I've had five covid shots so far, and I hear that another is on the way.

I get flu shots as well.

My insurance more or less instructs me to get them, and it's not my nature to turn down free stuff.

On my paternal [Niblick:)] side, in this country at least, only my paternal grandmother and one of my dad's younger brothers made it to 85.
Most of us have had more than enough well before then. [I often feel as though I've had enough already.]

On my mother's side, my mom was one of the very few who didn't make it that far.
The other two were first cousins who died at 5 and 20, respectively.

Just about everybody else had too much longevity for their own good.
I hope that I'm not cursed with those genes.
I want my Avatar to outlive live me because I'm sick of losing dogs.

I can't find any reference to Slay News, but judging by it content it's obvious that this is an obscured Right Wing propaganda, conspiracy, and disinformation site

Thanos for answering...I would have guest incorrectly that you didn't take the old people shots...lol.... it is really hard to lose our dogs... but you're going to have to be realistic... it's one of the toughest parts of having pets...sigh... and I do agree that sometimes really old is too old.... that's why you got to keep active and healthy.. and hopefully one day just fall over at a very ripe age;)

I just wish that there was a vaccine for your idiocy.

When did Cureus Journal of Medical Science become renowned and peer-reviewed?
Or maybe I should say when did they stop being a renowned peer reviewed journal?

From their website
Cureus is a formally peer-reviewed medical journal.
They currently accept any publication and their peer-review process is almost non-existent.
The author of a paper suggest 6 possible reviewers and if only one does a review, the paper is published.

Not only that, but the paper is a reprint of the paper published online in 2021.

This isn't a new study at all. It is an old study that failed to account for many factors in it's data. They only looked at deaths per population and didn't look at deaths per Covid infection. The study is pretty meaningless and outdated.
