ITT: Post Only If You Are Happy Bin Laden Is Dead

Now I lay me down to sleep... one less terrorist this world does keep... with all my heart I give my thanks... to those in uniform regardless of ranks... you serve our country and serve it well... with humble hearts your stories tell... so as I rest my weary eyes... while freedom rings our flag still flies... you give your all, do what you must... with God we live and God we trust.... Amen (author unknown)

I feel more celebretory about it today. It's funny - I couldn't really relate to the enthusiastic reactions last night. I understood them, but didn't feel the same way. I think I had put 9/11 in a little place that I didn't visit very much until the news broke last night, and the whole thing was a little numbing...

We should close the office here today. It's dead as hell....all our customers are out celebrating. :)

When I get off work I'm going to have a Sam Adams lager and a shot of Kentucky Bourban (Makers Mark) to celebrate the killing of Bin Ladin. There's something sweetly ironic in having an alcoholic beverage to celebrate his deat. Maybe I should order a ham sandwhich too? LOL

Here's to the SEALS!!! If anyone needed an example of why I consider these men to be the greatest warriors on Earth, this provides a good illustration. Fucking SEALS!!!

:shots:

I wish they would just embrace this and celebrate with great pride, all the other analyzing can be dane later! Why can't we just have our day of celebration for once. I am dancing and Damo, I did eventually run into the street screaming! We got him!!!!!

Our guys performed perfectly! This is how we should have taken Saddam!

I still don't relate to the super-celebration. If it actually meant something like the end of radicalized Islam I probably would be that excited, but it is only one victory in what seems to be a never-ending war. As I said, I'm thrilled he's dead, it is exciting. It just isn't overwhelming take to the streets kind of exciting.

:dunno: Maybe my celebrate is broken.
