More guns = more shooting.

Um. Yea, more guns equal more shooting. The difference is, with well-trained (and by well-trained I mean able to make precise shots on moving targets) and well-armed teachers, the shooters will be getting shot back at. It's not just bullets going in random directions the whole time..

We have an armed presence in malls, airports, courthouses. Why not schools? The place that holds our most precious cargo, our children.

Why do you suppose we are the only nation on the planet that even needs to consider measures like having teachers toting guns to protect their students from people determined to shoot them?

Is it, in your consideration, because we Americans are more savage and more hateful than the people of other nations?

In your consideration...the fact that we have more guns per capita than any other nation...IS NOT PART OF THE REASON WE NEED TEACHERS TOTING GUNS TO PROTECT THEIR STUDENTS? Right?

Nope. More criminals equals more shootings. What anti-gun nuts keep side stepping is that it takes a human finger to pull the trigger of a gun. And if a psychopath is attached to the finger pulling the trigger, then we have to neutralize the psychopath, not the gun.

Why punish the lawful for the bad behaviors of the unlawful? It's insane.

Those signs prevent mass shooting like deadbolt locks prevent house burglaries.

When I bought my first house many, many years ago, my insurance agent told me I could reduce my premiums if I installed deadbolts on the door. While I knew that something like that only kept what is an otherwise honest person from being tempted, I also knew it wouldn't stop a criminal. I installed them not because I thought it would stop someone intent on breaking in from doing so but to get the reduced premium. If he was fool enough to cut my rates, I was smart enough to put them on.
