It was once “established science” that the Earth was flat.
It was once “established science” that the solar system was geocentric.
It was once “established science” that smoking was healthy.
It was once “established science” that stomach ulcers were caused by stress- and diet-induced excess stomach acid as opposed to bacteria.
The only way science can advance is by questioning “established science.”
Simply believing whatever you’re told is a de-facto religion.
