It's now almost 4 pm EST and Trump isn't in cuffs.

...and fire people on Fridays. In this case, I agree with Damo. Trump wants protests and violence. More people will turn out on weekends for protests...not that a lot of Trumps Pedo Nazis are gainfully employed. LOL

Violent protests will keep people watching the news. It's a win-win for everyone but the Pedo Nazis who'll be left bleeding out in the streets. "Must see TV!"

The situation reminds me of rat cage experiments where a two-level rat cage was constructed with a single ladder w/hole connecting the two-levels. Food and water was placed on both levels in sufficient quantity for the number of rats placed in the cage. The number of rats placed was within standard spacing limits for the size of the cage. The result? The bigger rats took over the top level resulting in overcrowding and insufficient food and water for the lower level rats. Instead of fighting the larger, but fewer in number top level rats, the lower level rats fought each other.

Trump people don't have jobs, unless it's a weekend shift as a fry cook. So, there is that. But by and large, I think Damo's 'they' is the DAs office. And I would say they'd want to remain low-key, so Friday makes sense, but we really don't know at this point.

WTF? Seems Trump was telling a whopper. Why aren't all the Lefties going apoplectic over his not being charged?

Seems the DA got a bad surprise when it was discovered that he had failed to make over hundreds of documents he was required to do.

Threw a spanner in the works of the courtesy call they gave Trump about how to manage his outing to the courthouse.

In addition, the flimsy case they thought they had just got flimsier and they have to consider just how embarrassed they want to be.

If it's the DA's office, it's specifically the NY DA's office. This is a State event, not a Federal one.

Agreed. Honestly, I don't expect any announcement of an indictment this week. But three are coming in the very near future. Georgia, NY, and the Fed investigation into classified documents. That last one, it appears is open and shut.

ROTFLFMAO!!!! Keep your day job. The grand jury hears only the prosecutions case. You didn't know that? Wow.

It's up to the law to prove Trump's guilt. If anyone is powerful and arrogant enough, eventually they'll fuck themselves. Hillary got away with violating classified material protocols, and Trump was powerful and arrogant enough to do her one (or more) better. Federal is Federal, one shot. Trump also fucked himself by committing crimes at the State level, where the Republican Party has limited control regardless of their Governor and the majority of constituents. Trump will try to, literally, make a federal case out of all of them.

What will be interesting is to see Trump push this to a RW SCOTUS; will they vote for the rule of law or hand it all over to someone like Donald J. Trump? Trump stacked the court. The Republicans helped him do it. Now let's see what they want to do with it. How did the Germans do it about 100 years ago?

Just did.

Awesome, Sybil.

Despite remaining indictment free for another day, yesterday was the worst day yet for Trump. The appellate court decision, and most importantly the speed at which it was rendered, spells absolute disaster for Trump. Last Friday, a Federal Judge ruled that Trumps communications with his lawyer Mr. Corcoran fell under the crime fraud exception rule to attorney client privilege. Corcoran was the guy that wrote the letter to the DOJ stating that there were no more government documents at Mar-a-Lago. Apparently, Corcoran had conversations with Trump, and there may be recordings of those communications. Trump appealed the decision, and an appellate court ruled YESTERDAY (five days after the original decision) after setting a midnight Tuesday deadline for Trump's attorneys to submit their case, and a 6 A.M. Wednesday deadline for the special counsels answer. That is warp speed for an appeal. The appellate court upheld the ruling and Corcoran is going to testify on Friday.

The speed at which this decision was made indicates clear and convincing evidence that Trump ordered Corcoran to write the letter knowing it was not true. That is open and shut obstruction of justice. Smith could likely indict on that RIGHT NOW if he choose to. Bottom line, Trump is screwed on multiple fronts, and will be indicted on multiple charges, and those indictments are imminent. Not good news for the cult.

Circular argument fallacy (fundamentalism).

You misspelled 'Democrats' and 'Biden' again.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You have NO idea!

What classified documents?
The ones found in Biden's garage?

Violating the Constitution of the State of New York and the Constitution of the United States is NOT rule of law.
