Niger Johnson arrested in connection to a shooting that killed two and injured five.
Johnson, 21, is charged with reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon. He pleaded not guilty.
Police say he fired a gun during the incident at Maplewood Park (Rochester, N.Y.) last July 28, but was not accused of shooting any victims40-50 shots were fired from at least nine guns.
Johnson was arrested in 2022 and 2023 for possessing an illegal handgun.
He is being held in Monroe County Jail.
