How many countries over the last hundred years has America come to the aid of? Fought battles along side of other nations in order to help defend them from intruding enemies? Other countries.....distinct nations with specifically marked and measured spaces of land. A defined government for each with laws and limits determined by their leaders and populace. How many of our wonderful soldiers, airmen, sailors and Marines bled and died to help other nations secure their borders against hostile intruders or those with unknown identities and motives wandering in from another country?

We have approximately 800 military bases around the planet. Let that sink in.

And, there are those here in the United States who think we have no right to secure our own borders?

Every American citizen of every political persuasion should be demanding to enjoy the same protection and security for us.

The lunatics are running the asylum.

For 250 years we haven't established a religious test for entry into this country, don't think what you fascists are doing is normal. Don't normalize yourselves. You are evil. You are an imported ideology from evil neo-nazis in europe.

Oh be quiet and pay attention...it's about regions, not religion...good grief.

It is written in such a way that it never specifically mentions religion, but it's obviously targeted at Muslims. It even exempts religious minorities... of which the only large one in the region is Christians. Alawites and other Muslim minorities within their nations are presumably excluded too. Even Yazidi are being turned back.

Not that the buffoons in the border patrol can bother to tell the difference between any of them. Are you Christian? You're allowed in. Are you some random set of syllables? Goodbye.

Ok fine, let's take the whole talk of religion out of it and go straight to the subject of law..."do you believe in, and support, Sharia law?"..."yes"..."GTFO, there's only one body of laws here". When you can not separate a culture's societal norms from its religion from its laws and from its politics because they are all one in the same and it is fundamentally opposed to your culture then it is incompatible and rejectable.

Betimes in the morning say to thyself, This day I shalt have to do with an idle curious man, with an unthankful man, a railer, a crafty, false, or an envious man; an unsociable uncharitable man. All these ill qualities have happened unto them, through ignorance of that which is truly good and truly bad. But I that understand the nature of that which is good, that it only is to be desired, and of that which is bad, that it only is truly odious and shameful.

That's exactly why it's not exclusively about religion alone. It's about what region are they coming here from. Geeeeeeeeeeeesh!
