But without Antifa there antagonizing them, nothing would have happened. People ignored the Klan for decades and now we've given them what they want.

That's a strawman.

Politicians have had extremists support them for ages. In this specific instance, Trump had remarks that extremist leaders responded to. And they responded positively.

When that happens, it basically destroys the argument that what he said was "correct" or not damaging in some way. Not only were people outraged & disgusted (and well beyond liberals and the media), but those extremists in question actually found comfort in his words.

there were plenty bad actors there saying silly and disgusting stuff

some people came armed with guns bcuz it is a legal right in VA

nobody got shot

as far as i can see the only death was when a young man was being chased and assaulted by antifa and he panicked and hit a car

antifa and blm assaulted many people including reporters (guess they did not want their antics recorded on video)

there r many americans who dont care about monuments and only a few who do
