Your article yet again stated that the severity of storms is increasing in the US. They are not. That is a fact supported by data.

You have yet to show any data that backs up your ignorance. Why is that Darla? Oh yeah, because you are too busy spewing hate and rage on the board to actually back up your assertions.

Oh, dear gawd, go read a scholarly paper on it. I know you are trying for a gotcha, but when you make statements like this it shows you don't understand the research and science of climate change due to warming.

Actually, when you assume one hurricane means that all of this is confirmed then it makes it clear that you don't understand. The reality is this hurricane itself doesn't prove anthropogenic climate change any more than a cold winter disproves it. It is exactly the same thing going on from the other "side".

Now all you've got to do is show where anyone has claimed hurricane Sandy was CAUSED by global warming and you're in business.

SF what have humans been doing for the last 100 years? What are the dates of the industrial revolution?

They have been watching the end of the little ice age?

So now you are proclaiming that man has been causing global warming for 100 years?

What about the cooling period in the 1960's and 70's??? Sea levels kept going up... hmmm...

I can link to my real life and the changes I have seen in the conditions in my state where it is happening at a faster rate than other parts of the world. The storms here have become much more severe since 1975 when I moved here. There are far fewer below zero temperatures. The permanent frost is deeper. There are so many things and it has all happened since China and India became industrial giants. I see a correlation.

your state, while beautiful, is not the globe. That said, saying there are far fewer below zero temps means that you would be experiencing LESS severe temps. If the perma frost is deeper with less zero degree days, then that too would suggest a lower degree of temp variations.

The storms I don't have data on... if you do have data showing they are more severe I would love to see it.
