It's astounding that anyone posting here can support either party

The solution is simple.

First - get rid of the 'full employment' mandate of the Fed.
Which was added 'officially' in 1978.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humphrey–Hawkins_Full_Employment_Act
Which gives the Fed - I am not kidding - the power to buy ANY, public corporation in America - anytime it wants. Or even ALL of them (if it can get hold of enough equities).
Without the Fed buying American debt? The government has a much harder time running ridiculous deficits.
Plus, the ENTIRE start market boom (which benefits the wealthy) since April 2008 has been directly because of the Fed's ZIRP and QE policies...that is common knowledge.

Second - End Representative Democracy. At least at a federal level.
The only reason the representatives were necessary in the 18'th century was because it was impossible for the masses to vote on Bills.
So...they needed to send a representative.
That situation ended decades ago.
There is no reason whatsoever that the masses cannot vote for every, major bill directly via internet/phones through encrypted voting.
None.

So, keep both houses and reps/senators 'just in case'.
But ALL Bills are voted by the voters ONLY and DIRECTLY.
Sure, the nothing bills can be handled by reps.
Or if too few citizens vote on a Bill.
But everything else is handled through the purest form of democracy - direct democracy.

And I do not much care what your objections are.
They are not good enough.

And for the love of God...PLEEEASE save that ridiculous excuse - 'the masses are too stupid'.
Voters trust in Congress is down to 20%.

I will take stupid voters over corrupt politicians ANY day.

Enough of this shit.
Enough of this partisan crap that is destroying America.
And enough of the fucking Federal Reserve propping up capital gains/major corporations for the wealthy.
Time to get rid of federal politicians AND the Fed 'FULL Employment' mandate.
