Well when the guy got a memo that said "Obama determined to strike within the United States" and then another that said "Terrorists to use airplane's to attack" its hard not to blame the guy in charge.


Now the economy is different, it takes time to fix the economy! It takes seconds to prevent a terrorist attack.

He inherited the Clinton recession, the Dot.com bubble burst, gross over-projections rendering Social Security broke, and within months, he had to deal with the worst attacks on civilian Americans in history, and destruction of the nation's largest financial center and instantaneous loss of international headquarters for most of the Fortune 500.

On January 20, 2009, Obama became the President, and this is how politics works... Presidents get credit for the good and blame for the bad. It doesn't matter what excuses you can throw out, it doesn't matter how much of the problem can be blamed on previous administrations. Much of what happened on 9/11 can be traced back to Clinton policies and his indifference in dealing with the problem of radical extremism. Does the public blame Clinton for 9/11 happening? Furthermore, most of the problems we face currently from radical Muslim extremists, are a direct result of Jimmy Carter policies, but does the public blame Carter for 9/11 or the War on Terror? Nope, they give him the Nobel Peace Prize!

Recession is a condition, it has criteria. For nearly 8 years, we listened to pinheads tell us we were in a recession, when we weren't! There was never a moment when government "decided to tell us" we were in a recession! YOU claimed we were in one, when we weren't! Eventually, you people talked down the economy so much, you actually made people believe a recession existed, and this had a negative effect, essentially pushing us into a real recession. The moment in which our economic condition fit the criteria of recession, the Feds announced it. The "onerous trillions" are the knee-jerk reaction of a DEMOCRAT-controlled Congress, and Democrats will pay the political price for that.

It seems you are living in a bit of a Micheal Jackson bubble world, where Democrats and their presidents, simply can't be criticized or scrutinized, and it's open season on Republicans or Conservatives. It's a place where "leadership" means finding out what the international community thinks, and following along with that. Where "doing the right thing" is determined by push polling and focus groups, rather than principled conviction. A world of environmentalist rainbows and health care unicorns, to make our world a better place! And floating along on a marshmallow cloud, above all the rest of us mere mortals, is your Obama God!

Here's the political reality... Democrats hold majorities in both houses of Congress, and the White House. The judicial branch is either dead even split, or slightly advantageous to the left. Your "ideology" effectively controls ALL THREE branches of government! If you still can't find solutions to the problems and take responsibility for them, with all of this, you never will. About the only thing MORE you could advocate, would be declaring war on the right wing, taking up arms and facilitating their complete extermination. You simply can't be given any MORE political power, you have it ALL now!

Now pinheads, I realize it's tough to grasp the transition here, but you are no longer "protesting" the mean and corrupt cons who control all the power and plan to rule the world through their neocon new world order... you won the elections... you have ALL the power at your disposal! Your "role" has changed! The tactics of old... (attacking Bush for everything) will no longer be effective for you. For a limited amount of time, you can pacify your support base by claiming you "inherited" all these problems, but this does nothing to ensure your long-term future. That will take results! Not excuses, not blame... but RESULTS!

...But I personally blame George W. Bush and Republicans for this!

Not true. I personally blamed Bush for almost everything, because his incompetence resulted in negative consequences in almost every area of domestic & foreign policy.

Dixie's post is entertaining, though. It's like a diary of how much he suffered during the Bush years, doing what Rush admitted...trying to "carry water" for that flunkie.

I'm fine with America judging Obama now, in 2010, in 2012 and in 2016. I'm fairly optimistic about the years ahead....
