It's about teaching the children... to be good little pinhead protesters!

So, you have not even one story that backs up your version, yet we have the words of the students themselves saying that their teachers brought them there.

Thanks. Hypocrite.

Hilariouser. You know that you've won the fight against Damocles when he quits, starts a different fight and starts calling you names.

I also love it that Damocles suddenly has access to video.

Hilarious. At lest with tinfoil and bravo you know what you're getting. Damo just whips up a shit sandwich and calls it lunch.
Well Nigel....that's kinda what politics is all about! LOL

Or to put it another way.......

A bad politician will give you the shaft......but a good politician will put vaseline on the shaft!

What? He asked me for a link. I gave him video. It's what I can find on my phone. You know the left has lost when they pretend that the kids' own words aren't good enough. Seriously. If you have stories that debunk the video, post them. Then we'll know. However, as it stands there is actual evidence on only one side of this thing.

That's the best video we've got, 9 pages in, to defend the assertion that kids were pulled from school by their teachers and that this is a field trip?

Really?

LOLers. Since you have access to video now, why don't you go back and watch the video in the OP that we've been discussing and then watch the video that you posted. Then apologize.

1. When did I say they were pulled from school?
2. When did I say it was a field trip?

You are building weak straw men again.

I said they were students, not their own children as was suggested before. I based it on video I saw on CNN. Then when I produce the video with students specifically stating they were brought their by their teacher I vindicate what I asserted. They were not the issue of the teachers, they were the students brought there by the teacher...

What? I don't give a dang if it is even the same video. At what point would I have to "apologize"?

I quoted a post that asserted that the kids were not "students" but the teachers own children and said, "That is not what happened, they were students brought there by the teacher according to video I saw on CNN yesterday..."

You then asked for a link.

I couldn't give it until I had time to look and post from my phone as I can't watch video.

I gave the link...

Then you pretend I said they were "taken from school" or some other nonsense.

I said they were students, brought there by the teacher... And gave video that has them directly stating that, as I watched on CNN yesterday.

I don't quite get what your hypocritical hacktacular crap is going for here, but you aren't winning, well maybe like Charlie Sheen, but not by any definition that is normal.

YouTube - Wisc. High School Teachers Bring Students to Protest

Tell me about the "many students that didn't know why"... And tell me about what they said before... like "Our teachers brought us here today..."

Amazing what you can do with a Droid, eh?

The students being interviewed in that clip aren't the same children seen in the Capital Rotunda...those were elementary school kids...the students in the clip you provided are high school age.

So tell me how what a couple of high school kids say in your clip has anything to do with the elementary school kids in the other clip.

Can we even be sure the two happened on the same day?

Basically, the OP posts a video, people say, "They are probably the teacher's own kids and not their students!"

Then you hear what the kids say on the video and you know it isn't so. This isn't the place of teachers, there is no time that political indoctrination to any right/left view should be part of the students' school experience. Conversation goes further and we get into a general discussion where somebody asks me for evidence that kids were brought to protest.

What it has to do with it is it clearly states what I said, students were brought there by teachers... My only assertion here is that the idea that no kids were brought to protest except the teachers' own children is total rubbish. I doubt those happened on the same day... I just know that the video has what I would be objecting to. Students shouldn't be taken to protest by the teachers... It isn't their place to indoctrinate the kids in their political view.

And it's total rubbish because of the outdoor video you found, where one kid says "our teachers brought us?"

Nah - you're not too partisan. "I want to believe!"

The children in the video from the OP are ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS...NOT High School Students...the interview you provided wasn't even with the same children being discussed in the OP and this thread.

How hard is that to understand?

Hey, but it is A video, and it seems to show something from some students somewhere on some day....

Isn't a major part of a teacher's job to teach children about sharing? Empathy? Concern for others?

Uhm... NO! It's certainly NOT the job of a teacher! Those are things one might learn from their family.... their TRADITIONAL family... or their CHURCH! It's not the Liberals obligation to teach these things, because we don't all agree with what the Liberal views are.

I've heard people say that children grow up overnight, but you're taking it a bit far here, Damo.

THIS thread and THIS discussion centers on the ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN in the video posted with the OP.

If you wish to discuss whether teachers EVER brought students to the Wisconsin rallies then, by all means, go start another thread.

The video you provided proves NOTHING with regards to the original claim that the elementary school children chanting in the OP were brought by their teachers.

LOL. Okay, so when I said I saw video of students saying they were brought to protest you object. Then when I provide video of what I saw, students saying they were brought to protest. It means that I was somehow wrong?

k...

Now, do you have evidence to debunk the video I provided that teachers are bringing students to protest? If you do, it's your turn.

The conversation progressed and became a more general discussion about whether any students were being brought at all. I stated that I saw video on the news that had students saying they were brought by their teachers. I provided video of students saying they were brought by their teachers.

Thanks for the advice, but on JPP we allow conversations to go without forcing people to stay within the boundaries set by Zappa. You'll have to learn to deal with that.

The man with the 135 lb leg is done with the feedbag and now y'all get to read him regurgitate all afternoon.

if anyone takes an honest look at the OP, it is about ANY school children and is not solely about elementary schools. its hilarious how dishonest the wacko libs on this board get when stuffed into a corner eating their meadowmuffins they try to pawn off on the board.
