When I accomplish something big, Id love it if a friend, co-worker wispered to me, "This is a big Fucking deal" as I went up to accept the accomplishment! Id perfer him say, "savor the moment", but to me, the intent is really basically the same.

We used to play that at work on occassion. It's one of those that is just awesome to have around and listen to every now and then. The way the guy narrates (sp) it is just perfect!
We know Joes intent was to compliment Barack, but to me, it was an odd way to do it. The implication of his feeling need to point out the obvious to Obama speaks volumes about Joes mental image of Barack as that clean, articulate, storybook-like african american he once commented about.
