People do not even realise just how rare and difficult it is to impeach a president. It has to go through both houses. In the first it has to be voted by a simple majority from a special committee. Then it goes to the Senate for trial and Trump can mount his defence. The Senate acts as the Jury and Trump can only be removed with a massive 2/3 majority. Needless to say for Trump to be removed, Republicans control both Houses and so they would have to turn on him. Considering the Republican voter base is almost unanimously pro-Trump and totally outraged at the campaign to oust him, they would destroy themselves and civil war would become a very real possibility.

Do the MSM think the people are stupid, they have been arguing for impeachment over numerous issues from Day One. It's totally transparent, sickening, anti-democratic and incredibly unfair. They are creating an atmosphere of extreme hostility and hysteria over Trump, to set the climate for overthrowing the democratically elected president simply because the elites, the Establishment and vested Interests do not like him. Why? Because they cannot control him and they fear their monopoly on power and the gravy train of corruption will come to an end.

This is the be all and end all of the matter. What is even more sickening is seeing sanctimonious twats like Desh, Black as Crap and Nostradumbarse crowing. I will delight in rubbing their noses in their own shit when the time is ripe.

I think you are onto something here, about how unlikely it is that he will be impeached. There is nothing there, no smoking gun. All there is to go on are the emotional assertions and allegations like what we see from the lefties of this forum, and what the lefty media engineers. There would have to be something more than just the will of the losing side of the presidential election. The left has nothing to lose, so they will fight to overturn their loss with everything that they can.
 
Mike Flynn is going to prison unless he rolls on Rump. If Flynn does not roll it will be interesting to see if they can get to Rump.

Given Rumps actions thus far... it's likely he will commit an even more impeachable offense in the coming weeks.

Trump is only unsuitable for office through the eyes of his political opponents. The will of his political opponents is not grounds for impeachment. A legal approach would mean having something above and beyond loathing from his political opponents, but could very well happen if they just wait for 3 1/2 years and win next time.

Impeachment is an interesting mix between prosecution and politics. If you have a low enough approval rating they can impeach you for almost anything, if your approval rating is high it would take a lot!

Depends on his reasons for firing Comey. Based on his Tweets, and the Lester Holt interview it's over the line in my opinion.
