There are an estimated 1 million women who are here illegally who work as house cleaners, nanny's etc. They are all over wealthy neighborhoods and many middle class families even get help now. No real answer how the federal government wants to handle that.

Most big cities have areas outside of places like Home Depot where people here illegally are there to work as day labors. That's like a prostitution issue, do you bust the workers or the johns?

Personally I don't think it's fair to bust the workers only. Without employers or johns there would be no workers.

I live in a sanctuary City. We have representatives on our Board of Supervisors that actively support people here illegally. They work for them to get licenses, set up bank accounts etc. The Feds are highly unlikely to come here and start busting people for having illegal house cleaners.

A lot of this is a class issue. I played golf the other day with a guy who invests in San Francisco restaurants. He said there are so many people here illegally working in restaurants in SF half of them would cease functioning if all illegals were kicked out of the City. To the wealthy people of the City illegals clean their homes, watch after their kids, clean their yards, work at the restaurants they eat at etc. Illegals don't live in their neighborhoods or send their kids to the same schools. If you're a blue collar working class family it's a different scenario.

It almost seems like you are saying that the rich GOP voters benefit from the illegals but the blue collar mostly Dems do not.

Understand that I realize farms need migrant harvestors and I would support whatever us needed to allow farmers to harvest their crops and there may be other similar situations.

Since you're an east coast guy maybe you are unfamiliar with the west coast. I live in San Francisco, California which is one of the wealthiest and most liberal cities in the country. Not many Republicans around this place.There's a reason Bush never visited during his eight years as President and the Clinton's and Obama visit regularly and it's not because this is a right wing hot spot. There's a reason the locally elected Democrats support illegals. There's a reason California votes for all Democrats and its because the Republicans backed Prop 187 during the '90's and paid for it ever since.

So you are either completely unaware of just flat out lying when claiming Democrats don't support illegals. And this board is just a microcosm. Have you seen one Democrat or liberal on this board other than you speak out against illegals? I can answer that, no you haven't.

I reason things out myself. Logic tells me your side benefits most from illegals.

where do you get that from? It does encourage illegal immigration. Not all Hispanics favor illegal immigration
and for sure characters like Trump alienate the Hispanic vote -but this has been trending since the beginning of the century
and now policies friendly to Hispanics in general create a voting block.
