It is time just to admit DeSantis does not have the evidence

Walt

Back To Reality
DeSantis' spokesmodel has stated that he will not release any evidence, so it is time for everyone to admit that DeSantis will not release the evidence of his claims about math.

Some will say that DeSantis is so holy that he does not need evidence, his word is just to be trusted. The fact is that DeSantis is one of the slimiest politicians around, and in my book needs more evidence...

This is something that should be easily proven, but slimy DeSantis refuses to prove his bizarre claims.

Americans hold our teachers in high regard. 75% consider teachers very high, or high honesty or ethical standards. DeSantis' claim they are systemically grooming children for sex, without any evidence is backed up by his reputation as a smily lawyer who was nearly disbarred for committing a fraud upon the court, and a slimy politician who "interviewed" young women for his transition team.

What math books would you like to see reinstated...and why? Did he personally reject the texts...or was there a committee who evaluated them and then made the decision?

What math books would you like to see reinstated...and why?

We are not allowed to even know, which math books were rejected and specifically why. Non-specific allegations can never be disproved, because in essence they have never been made.

Lets say we call for all the retired teachers to be executed, because some unknown teacher may have committed a crime at some time... But with no specifics, no evidence, no even accusations. Then I ask you to specifically prove all teachers innocent. You might be able to prove one teacher innocent of a specific crime, the teacher was out of town at the time, or whatever. But, you cannot prove any teacher innocent for a lifetime.

DeSantis has learned at the feet of the masters of his strategy: Hitler and Putin. He is moving closer to closer to genocide, now that he is openly burning books.

Is there a committee? A process? If so, then there is a list...of what was accepted, and what was rejected...there should be a report...

Why put those questions to the forum? Answer: they aren't questions, they're a diversion, an attempt at political protection in a political forum. And a witless effort.

There used to be a process, which was highly transparent, and non-partisan. DeSantis said that was systemic grooming of children, so now what does Florida have? I really am asking that question, because no one knows anymore.

Why does everything have to be done in secret?

https://www.tampabay.com/news/educa...s-in-florida-chosen-florida-wonders-explores/ A book committee is "systemic grooming of children"? What research have you done when it comes to the selection process? Do you believe the Governor hand picked or rejected the books?

Sounds like you have much in common, after all you never provide evidence either and slimy is your middle name.

Once again, they demand we prove the examples that DeSantis will not give are wrong. No one can prove they are wrong, and no one can prove they are right. DeSantis has decided to not allow the situation to be provable one way or another.

And we come back to the question, why? If he has the strong evidence he claims he does, why is he hiding it? What happened to the old transparent way of doing things?

Because it's none of your fucking business, douchebag.

Telling the public which books and publishers were rejected (instead of rejecting and asking them to fix it) opens the State up to lawsuits from the publishers, dumbass; So hell no

that will never happen, and I just told you why.

You'll never be allowed to know, and fuck off with you thinking you should be.

Neither the publishers nor the State wants you to, and this transaction is between them and not you.

If the publishers release it, then there ya go! Ofc that means they've been publishing Common Core and CRT things in math books, though.

Personally I think if they did that, around 38+ states would drop them like a hot potato.

If you want to know so bad, write the publishers and see what they tell you.

The above is today's Right - hostility combined with brainlessness.

It is very much the voters business. DeSantis is rejecting books in their name, making bizarre claims about those books, but refusing to give any evidence. Now you say it is none of our business? What next, will DeSantis begin executing people with secret trials and secret laws, and will you again say it is none of our business.

It is very much the business of voters what is and is not being done in their name. It is the business of all Americans (not just Floridians) that Florida has a fair, and transparent government, and allows the voters to know what is happening in government.

Telling them to "fix it", without telling them what to fix? Really? There are going to be lawsuits. If only to figure out why they were rejected, there will have to be lawsuits. DeSantis has already indicated he will fight those lawsuits to the last taxpayer dollar. He wants to keep his secrets.

You'll never be allowed to know, and fuck off with you thinking you should be.

You are probably right here. DeSantis will fight the book publishers, teachers, parents, and voters with all the taxpayer money he can. If he loses in the end, he will buy the books, rather than ever telling anyone why he rejected the books. Remember, this is just a publicity stunt, and not an actual policy issue.

Ofc that means they've been publishing Common Core and CRT things in math books, though.

And somehow 50 states did not pick up on it? Millions of teachers missed it? Tens of millions of students and parents did not see it? These books are not just sold to Florida, they are sold all over. And almost all were sold to Florida before, so they are currently in Florida schools right now.

You are asking us to believe that DeSantis is the first person to discover all this?

Personally I think if they did that, around 38+ states would drop them like a hot potato.

How did all those states somehow miss what the math books were teaching? There are some very right wing states out there, and we are asked to believe that none of them spotted what DeSantis spotted?

A metaphor for why conservatives have an affinity for facsism while liberals lean towards democracy.

Unless national security is involved, nothing the government does should be done in secret.

These are public schools and public agencies paid for by the taxpayer. Any decision-making process by public agencies should have a transparent administrative record documenting the procedures, findings, and reasons for their policies and actions.

If algebra textbooks in Florida are really making white children feel guilty for racism, it should be very easy to show examples where this is true.

Why isn’t it the business of the public?

For one thing because it's an ongoing deal and nothing is done yet. The publisher must meet the state standards or be rejected. During the review process is not the time for things to be public.

Publishing the names of rejected publishers probably is protected by a non-disclosure agreement.

The state is reviewing books to pick, often they give publishers a chance to add or subtract things in the textbooks before the final release.

It has always been that way.

Those screaming like stuck pigs about releasing the textbooks pre-adoption are either ignorant, or shills for the leftist publishers trying to open the State of Florida up to massive lawsuits.

I don't think they could get as much out of 1 state as they'd lose if word gets out about what they've been doing.

There aren't very many publishers, people could ask them if they really wanted to know, I bet those publishers will tell them to take a hike.

In the end this is a hysterical Karen way of trying to take a jab at DeSantis and nothing more.

Notice none of them are asking the publishers which texts got rejected and none of the publishers are volunteering the info. ;)

He’s all about parental rights but won’t tell parents the problem with the textbooks? That makes no sense. Probably? I’d demand proof as a teacher or parent.

Parents and teachers should be focused on the ones that were selected...;)

He’s limited the selection to one textbook company in Texas, this is highly unusual, something smells here. Big DeSantis donor?

Q: Do you live in Florida?

A: Hell no you don't

Q: Do you work for the State of Florida or a rejected textbook publisher?

A: Again, NO

Conclusion: It's none of your fuckin' business.
