Or, the Democrats are choosing Biden because they are playing a more disingenuous game here. That is, they know Biden's one card short of being a retard at this point. They nominate some radical Leftist Black woman like Karen Bass as his VP. Biden gets elected. A few months later he resigns from office saying he's been diagnosed with Alzheimer's or dementia and is no longer fit for office. The Democrats celebrate as the President is now a Black woman and a radical Leftist and the first Black woman President!
They get two years, then are turned wholesale out of Congress. Their ploy also sees them tossed out of the White House in the next presidential election. They are out of power for more than a decade but can't figure out why or what happened that caused this.

A 320-218 win for Trump would not surprise me one bit... Even if the Dems keep Minnesota, a 310-228 win would not surprise me one bit.
And that was figured under the very kind assumption that Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, and Virginia are all definitely staying Dem...

Nope. The people voted for Bernie. Biden is the nominee because the DNC strongarmed all other candidates out of the race just to screw Bernie and, as a bonus, to thwart the will of the people. The DNC sure enjoys that thwarting the will of people ... like it's their favorite pastime.
The DNC has no intention of having Biden as President; Biden's resignation speech is already written. Whoever the DNC wants to be President is who they will select as Biden's VP ... and they will notify him when they feel like it ... and when Biden isn't "occupied."
